My 12 year old daughter recently went with a friend to a movie at this theater on a Friday night. She had been asked to call when the movie finished and wait inside to be picked up. While waiting only a short time she and her friend were told by a security guard they would have to wait outside. When I called to complain I was told the girls were not causing a problem but in was the theaters policy to not allow people to wait inside. I was told that they have too many people coming to the theater to allow people to wait inside to be picked up. This lady who identified herself as Rachel the manager said she was not allowed to give me the contact information for the owner so I could complain to them. I explained if they too many people to allow two young girls to wait inside out of the dark to be picked up at night that maybe they did not need my business.

Theater is not very well maintained, and even after having been "cleaned", was surprised to find so much garbage still inside. The whole theater lost power part way through, which in itself was no problem....the problem was that once power was restored, the move (MIB III) was still playing, but only the sound, no picture. After a few minutes of this, I hunted down a manager, and let him know. He told me they took a power hit. I told him I understood that, but that the movie was still playing, sound only. He tells me "Right...picture will come up in a bit." *sigh* I try a different approach: "We can hear it, but cant see it....can you pause it or mute the sound???" He says "Oh...well definitely rewind it!" Long story, but enough to tell you: Buyer beware. I will not take my family back to this theater.

They pick and choose who they want to follow the policy with. I purchased tickets for my 17 year old child and friend to see a PG13 movie. The ticket taker didnt ask the people before them for their ID but when they went to go into the movie the ticket taker asked them for theirs. Since they didnt have an ID he wouldnt let them in the movie. The manager said they had signs up saying you have to have ID for any movie showing after 9pm on Friday and Saturday. That is fine but follow the policy for everyone. Why sell me the tickets if that is your policy and I told you at time of purchase they had no ID? Why pick and choose who you are going to ask for ID before viewing the movie if everyone has to show ID before entering the theater? I will never recommend this theater.

Horrible...Stay away from this place!!! Popcorn is pre-bagged and stale. They charge extra for more butter. Ridiculous! Not sure who owns this place but the manager is rude and unconcerned. The sound on the movie was like I was sitting on my couch at home without surround sound. The whole point of going to a movie is to get that surround sound feel and watch it on the big screen. Not here! I could literally hear each person crunch on their popcorn throughout most of the movie. Not very clean, with popcorn between the seats upon arrival. Dont waste your time or money! My first visit and definitely my last visit. This place should be closed!

Went to see Star Trek in 3D and the picture was lacking red color! Characters were tinted a pale green or blue (the humans, mind you--not aliens!), red clothing appeared black, and lips were highlighted in darker reds and blues. After repeated complaints to the manager, we were told thats "how its supposed to look" and that if we didnt like it, we could complain to corporate. That is definitely not how its supposed to look, so we complained to corporate. So if you do venture to see a movie here, make sure its not in Theater 9, I think the projector is completely out of whack.

Used to be good when it was new but now after having not been in a very long time I remember why. I only found myself here because a friend who doesnt know Bartlett wanted to meet up at the theater on Stage Road. Naturally I assumed the Malco down the street, this one hadnt entered my mind in ages. Dingy is the best word to describe it. Dingy like you clean it and its still dirty. The carpet, the seats, all of it. The place isnt run down per se, just dingy, in the way that makes you uncomfortable to touch anything.

My two daughters attended a viewing of Tyler Perrys Why did I get Married II yesterday (06Apr) and had to put up with exceptionally noisy teens and a small baby. When my daughter approached the manager about the problem the manager told her that she was eating. The auditorium was filthy with cups and no staff entered or passed thru even once during the movie. I am extremely upset by the behavior of the manager that was on staff (after 5pm). I live in this area but my family and I will drive elsewhere if needed.

Our movie plans today did not pan out because the hollywood 20 at 6711 Stage Road would not honor our coupons. Nobody can figure out how to load them and nobody really wanted to try. We could have stayed but, what for? After googling them I found that they had a score of 14 out of 30. I was going to complain to the district manager but its obvious that person does not give a s*** . Red box however did not fail us. This was my FB status. Its sad to see poorly managed theater chain.

My last experience at this theatre was horrible. Took my 8 y/o son and his friend to see a G-rated cartoon movie. Was asked about my relationship to the kids and told i couldnt be sold a ticket to the child not biologically mine. As is their policy fri-sun "you must be the parent of the child you buy a ticket for. (Ridiculous) No help or clarification of the so called policy, from the manager on duty either .

Chose this theater because it seemed to be the only one close to our hotel that has 3D. Older theater that shows some age, but clean overall. Concessions are reasonable for a cineplex; $6.50 for largest bag of popcorn or $10 with a drink. Movie sound and picture were what you would expect of a modern cineplex, but the screen did have some splotches that were visible during lighter scenes.

As of today no one in my family will not be coming to this movie theater ever again. They ask children for idenificaton if their with adults. They talking about they been doing this for three years. I said when because my child just went to the theater with some friends without ID. You all just lost some customers plus Im going to tell all my friends and they will tell their friends.

My first visit to this theater was a disaster. The projector was not working so we sat in the lobby for over a half hour waiting on management to tell me something. He walked right by me like I wasnt even there and claimed not to see me. I am sure he did not think I would be sitting in a dark room. Nevertheless, I requested a refund. I am not sure if i will be returning.
