I absolutely LOVED my first visit to the Hollywood Wax Museum! I went on my birthday on June 20th, I had turned 18.That night, just me and my mom went. We took lots and lots of pictures of and with the Wax figures. I felt like I got to meet every celebrity I ever wanted to meet! Especially MICHAEL JACKSON. I am a HUGE FAN. I heard his music playing a mile away and flew down the hallway screaming! People there probably thought I was CRAZY. And I gave him the BIGGEST, TIGHTEST, WARMEST, LONGEST hug that I could. Yes, I understand he wasnt real, but in my heart he was. We even got pictures taken with King Kong inside, that was fun too. Its a really big building, its spacious. Its easier buying tickets online ahead of time. And buying 2 tickets for the 2 of us cost only $45. And it comes with 3 things to do: The museum, Outbreak, a zombie infested lab and you have to make your way through it; and Hannahs Maze of Mirrors. If you dont want to do one or 2 of those, you could tell them you dont want to do those. Or you could do all 3. Its up to your decision. Me? I was NOT about to do the Outbreak.....I dont do scary stuff. And my mom didnt want to waste time going through the maze, because at the time we didnt know how long the Museum would take and we didnt want to stay out too late. But overall, we WILL be definitely coming back!

First of all, the only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1 star was because of the Outbreak experience with the zombies. It was better than any haunted house I have ever visited. The actual wax museum however, was a bust. The wax entertainers looked nothing like they do in person. Justin Timberlake looked like he was at least 50 years old, and Rocky Balboa, poor thing was cross eyed. Julia Roberts had toenail polish not only On her toenails, but on her toes as well. I could go on and on, but you get the point. Poor resemblances period. Dont waste your money on the wax museum. Check out the Outbreak experience or the mirror maze instead.

I took my girl scouts troop there. The majority of us did all three of the attractions. It was decent for the money spent. The girls enjoyed and the adults did for the most part. Our only complaint is that the staff were not the friendliest. Out of the 6 that we interacted with, only 3 were professional with us. I never heard from Tim when I emailed him inquiring about the group tickets (then again, I only gave a day turnaround so that might have been too soon to expect a response). I called and we spoke over the phone but he wasnt exactly the friendliest over the phone. Overall, the girls loved it and thats all that matters.

Great place to bring the kids. Spent about two hours here with the "All-Access Pass" (plus a discount from our resort) and the kids, my girlfriend and I had an awesome time. There were lots of opportunities to take photos with your favorite movie stars, monsters, and musicians, a mirror maze to get lost in, and an extremely scary zombie infested lab to escape from. The zombie experience is better for the older kids, because it can get gruesome and the actors jumping out at you can be terrifying. Overall, and amazing and fun visit. I recommend this attraction to any family planning a trip to Myrtle Beach.

This place was alot of fun! Great family fun. We spent close to 3 hours in here with all access passes. The wax museum took up a good 2 hours. The props for photos were fun. I took over 200 pictures! The mirror maze and zombie maze were equally fun. Outbreak is definitely not appropriate for small children FYI. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 is the price point is pretty steep. 75 for three of us. They take your picture at the beginning for you to fall in love with at the end for another $20 Overall.... this was one of the best attractions weve done at MB to date.

What I didnt love about this place?! I would like to say this is my very 1st time visiting and my very 1st wax museum that Ive visited. I sure dont regret going thats for sure. The wax models are very sturdy. You can take a selfie, do a close pose, etc. I would suggest to get the all access pass. Its definitely worth it! Youll get an admission entrance to 3 things. The wax museum, the mirror maze, & the zombie outbreak (walk through haunted house) very scary, tense. Youll definitely have an amazing time during your visit.

I have to admit I didnt think this was going to be Fun or Entertaining as it was. My daughter had been before & wanted me her Father, Mother, & Brother to go. We did & we had a ball. Be sure to take your camera, you are going to want to take a lot of pictures. Be sure to try the Mission Impossible laser alarm system game. We had a blast you will too. I took a picture No Father or Husband would EVER want to see. I took a picture of my Wife & Daughter laying in the bed with Hugh Hefner!!!!! Hilariously Scary!!!

If you ever been down to Myrtle Beach you might have gone to the racing Museum and thats right across the street from Broadway at the Beach now its called the wax museum you can find it by coming down 17 bypass and look hows your window to the right and youll see a giant gorilla on top of the building holding an airplane thats the wax museum now its not very expensive and it has a lot of things you would love to say everything is professionally done and its worth the money to see the attractions

While a tad bit more expensive than I think it should be, its set up very nice. The wife and I only went through the wax museum part of this and not the other 2 sections. The statues for the most part are well done and resemble the stars quite well. There are plenty of places to take photos with you favorites. They take a couple photos of you at the beginning with king kong, but dont pressure you into buying them at the end which is nice. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Not very good tbh. Most of the wax statues do not look very impressive, its a pretty small museum, and overrated in my opinion. The maze was pretty "meh", but the outbreak attraction was very scary, not gonna lie. The gift shop, although small, had things that Id never seen before and some items there are also relatively cheap. I went to the Wax Museum in New York City which is much larger and more impressive than this, so compared to the museum in Manhattan, this is nothing.
