Nice place for big events, flying kites, or frisbee. Not especially easy to reach by public transportation. A mere 11 miles from MacColl Field YMCA. Nearby is the only place in the world to find cumberlandite. Havent seen a bike rack.

Used to be a gorgeous place when I grew up in town, now its run down and not well taken care of. They still have concerts and events there. The town should invest funds there and they would have a gem.

Trails are hard to find and not well marked. Once you find them they are decent. They are up the big hill in the back and off to the right of the parking area.

The actual park is very clean and just to sit by the pond is nice. The 1 only gripe is the parking lot is hard on walkers and hard to walk on with bad legs.

Some of the best sledding in Rhode Island, at one time the park was a ski slope. The walk up the hill between runs is a challenge.

Hidden gem. Great views , interesting rocks. Trails poorly marked and no map at parking lot. Saw a large and healthy fox.
