A wonderful Christmas museum and gift shop. Dont know why I never heard of it before a few years ago. I even shopped/traveled through the general area for MANY years, but never knew about it (maybe could use more advertisement for a wider area audience). It is a little on the pricey side for this kind of thing. They probably could easily get away with charging only $5 for a one time admission and $10 for an entire year. They could also expand their gift shop TREMENDOUSLY, considering the potential for all kinds of neat and unusual Christmas items that are available on the market. Then once they have a tremendous inventory they could allow free admission that day for a purchase of maybe around $25 to $50 (they kind of do that on their TINY inventory of online goods, which they need to expand to include most everything they stock in store). Still a neat place to visit, and should easily warm your heart if you even love Christmas a little bit.

My husband and I have been visiting NCC now for almost 5 years. Each year we discover something new that we hadnt the previous years. Last year, our son was visiting for Thanksgiving and that weekend we all visited NCC, before he boarded the train to go back to Pittsburgh. He is in his 20s and his eyes lit up when we entered the room with the gigantic train. We took photos and stayed in there a while, just to soak in everything. The museum is very accommodating, and if anyone gets a bit tired from walking, there is seating available so that you can catch your second wind and continue on at your very own pace. We love it!!! :)

The place is awesome and like the previous reviewer stated, there is something for everyone :) I think it is simply magical. Im 37 and my hubby is 39 and we felt like we were 7 years old again :) A must see and you definitely want to take your time so you don t miss anything, lots to see!

Our yearly visit to the National Christmas Center has become a family tradition; we started when my daughter was just an infant and have not missed a year since. My little girl is now 9 and still looks forward to our trip to the Center, I recommend it to any Father or Mother who wants to relive Christmas through the eyes of their kids. Another tradition is eating at Miller’s Smorgasbord before returning home. Thank you

This is an overly priced store with a museum attached to it. We stopped because we were excited to find a Christmas store that was open year round. I think this is more of a tourist attraction than an actual place to shop. It costs $13 for adults and $5 for children to walk through the self guided museum. I did not go through it but I feel this would be nicer for elderly guests.

The lovely atmosphere of the museum stays with you long after you leave. -Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. The museum itself is so much more than we imagined and all of the exhibits are beautiful and well kept. One visit isnt enough as there is so much to see! Cant wait to bring my granddaughter.

So many things to see! A huge collection. Well put together and well organized. You will not believe the sheer number of items. P.S. Visited there 9/12/16. I had a special need, and without hesitation, they helped. Thanks Sharon! If you like Christmas nostalgia, THIS has to go on your bucket list!

If you enjoy Christmas, please visit this. It will be worth your time. From Vintage toys and trains to viewing how Christmas is seen in other cultures to beautiful Nativity displays (Including a walk through, life-sized one at the end), it is definitely worth the trip and the admission.

Wonderful times. Highly recommended for all people who love Christmas. The museum is full of real Christmas surprise s. I could live in there. It closes for good Jan. 2018. Unless someone buys the place.

Unless you want to pay a seriously inflated entrance fee this is barely a gift shop. Outside the the booths that were open in the Christmas village we full of dirty toys and dangerous kerosene heaters.

We honestly expected another cheesy holiday money grab, but were pleasantly surprised by how much history was packed into this museum! Well worth the money! Great place to take the kids!

What a lovely experience. Well worth the admission price. Brought me back to my childhood looking at so many memories from the past. The advertising does not do it justice.

I thought this would be a boring kids place but there is some interesting facts regarding Christmas that this museum explains. Kids will enjoy this place as well as adults.

Great trip down memory lane for Christmas and seeing Christmas from different countries and the biblical part of Christmas as well with nativity sets from around the world.

If you want a trip down memory lane then stop in. Its a bit pricey, but a fun time... Its for adults though... Kids may become frightened by some of the images of St. Nick.

Amazed by all the Christmas decoration, while bringing back memories if some items. A little musty smell due to the old items.

Went in 2014 with my grand children (4 & 5). They begged to go again and they loved it all over (now 5 & 6). Really nice!!
