Одно из самых моих любимых мест в городке Ири. Расположен на центральной артерии города - State street. Каждый раз когда бывала на State, не могла удержаться чтобы не подойти к нему поближе. Здание музея напоминает греческие храмы. На фото - парадный вход, но в данный момент вход осуществляется через back door. Тут всегда можно встретить множество народу с камерами или просто сидящих мечтателей...

Im actually really surprised about some of the negative comments Im reading. All of my experiences at Erie Art Museum have been really great. Yes, It is a bit small...but then again Erie isnt exactly the worlds largest city. The Erie Art Museum in itself is a reflection of Erie. It wouldnt make sense to put some monumental museum with twenty different exhibits in a city the size of Erie. From what Ive seen the art museum has quite a lot to offer to a little city like Erie. Its a really fun place to go for a date or to take the family. Also, its free on Wednesdays which is awesome because you dont even have to pay to have a good time.

One of the best and most interesting places in Erie. The Erie Art Museum not only houses a variety of local, regional and international art but it also is home to a yoga studio, a frame shop, and hosts multiple art classes, films and cultural events. Currently the art museum is holding their annual spring show and it is a real treat for the senses. Admission is $7 for adults except for Wednesdays when its free.

The art museum is an amazing place. Anyone can feel welcomed and can connect to a peice of art. I personally know that because when I started to volunteer there it was ma positive environment. This a quality anyone or place would love to have. I always encourage my friends and family to go and look at the exhibits. Erie is a lucky city to have such a great place.

Love everything about this place. Erie would not be the same without it. Thank goodness we have this here. Very dedicated staff makes this place an interesting visit every time I set foot on the property. You can tell they pour their heart into the curating an awesome experience for visitors. Great parties here too!

This place has potential, but not worth 9 dollar admission. The money would be better spent on gas to see the Cleveland art museum. The historical building is cool but the exhibits were lacking. Id go on Wednesdays when it is free, but only then.

Wow! Big city museum in Dreary (Erie), PA. Love the permanent exhibits, traveling shows, and guest gallery. Great complex. Real attention to talented local artists and history.
