This is a huge park within walking distance from the Willamette River. There is a giant (gated off from the street nearby) playground with several play-structures for different ages and abilities of children. From see-saws to swings to structures with slides and tunnels - its all there! Plus, the great thing for people utilizing this part of the park is that its nestled within a stand of mature evergreen trees, so youre shaded very well from hot summer sun. This park is also handy because its adjacent to the Sellwood Community Pool, and it has large picnic table areas, a baseball diamond, tennis courts, and a large field. Great neighborhood park!!!

In the Sellwood-West Moreland area youll find three parks - each with their own character. Sellwood park is one of the oldest parks in Portland and home of one of Portlands few outdoor pools. Theres a great play area, which is set aside from the rest of the park. Youll find tennis courts, ball fields and a some nice views of the Willamette River , Oaks Bottom, Oaks Park and the city off in the distance.

Looking for a place to go for a walk with some nature, overlooking an amusement park with baseball diamonds and tennis courts nearby? What about a large playground for children and a seasonal water park to stay cool in the sun? Thats whats on offer here. To be fair, I walk through with the dogs and rarely actually do anything in the park, but its a pleasant walk.

This big beautiful park has amenities for everyone, trails, a swimming pool, tennis courts, 3 ball fields, a big kids play area, 2 levels, you can hike down to Oaks Bottom, where theres an amusement park all summer. Huge trees and 1920s bldgs make it seem like a Grimm fairy-tale, and strangly its almost always empty.

Beautiful park. There are picnic tables, benches, and bathrooms. Perfect place to bring kids, bring your dogs, or have a party. There is a playground, a see-saw, there are bike paths in certain areas, as well as off leash parts for dogs. There are tennis courts, baseball fields, and a horseshoe field. Great place to go

Had a really good time yesterday with my family yesterday evening. There was quite a bit of people, but not so many that you had to wait an hour to ride on the rides. It was nice! The workers where pleasant and helpful. This summer Oaks Park has specials going on all days of the week. Sunday -Sunday.

Beautiful grounds, excellent playground, and a swimming pool! Sellwood Park is right on the river; during the summer, there are concerts and events. Its a lovely, relaxing place to hang out, and perfect for playgroups or a leisurely bike ride along one of the meandering paths.

This park has it all, cool fenced play area for the kids, and nature trails below. Bathrooms and several large sports fields. Tennis courts, + a swimming pool in the summer. Shade trees, picnic tables. Great place for a kids B-Day party.

A fantastic park! Trails, views of the river, beach to walk, area for dogs to play... great place to exercise or relax. Skipping stones is fun along the river. The park is always clean.
