Pricing: Great! $10 per person, with student and senior rates. This was my first visit. Kids are welcome for showtimes before 7pm. Food: Was good, but slightly expensive. Where isnt theater food expensive, though? Best part is that they deliver it to your seat, still need to line up and order, though. Get there early. Seats: Upholstered back-recline seats with cup holders. Wide and comfortable. some aisles have small ottomans you can snatch for your feet, or to rest your plates on. Lots of foot room. Picture / sound quality: Watched Beauty and the Beast standard (non-3D) with the family. Sat in Row C. The equipment/experience seemed dated - I felt the screens were set up too high, and even reclined back I felt I had to keep looking up. Stopped noticing it after a while. Definitely try to sit at the back to get a close-to eye level angle. I didnt get much much of a bass punch or surround experience that I would have expected from a smaller venue/space, but this perhaps wasnt that kind of movie. The place is a fun place to catch latest movies in cool atmosphere - but its not a high-end immersive movie experience. For $10, I think its great for a fun date. The Regal down the street is $13.50 and honestly wont offer much more that much except a larger venue/screen. Expectation/Reality: I was hoping this place would be a bit more of a specialized set up due to its size for sound and picture quality, like 20+ person capacity custom home theater set up youd find at very high end home, or a mini Cineplex VIP setup. Its more of mini 90s style theater house, with the main attraction being the seating, space, and food delivery. In Vancouver BC, Cineplex has VIP cinemas with in seat service and the latest projection/sound equipment. Its $20CDN though, but worthwhile. There seems to be a lot of ambient light or screen reflection, if there was better light control it would probably help with the contrast levels. I could still see everything during the movie. This was fine though, as I was with kids and Its nice to keep an eye on them, and we could actually see our food. lol. I would assume that the auditoriums with the 3D projectors would have better picture quality since its newer technology. Tip: Website only accepts US-Based credit cards for reservations. If using a Canadian or other issued card, youll have to pre-purchase at the window or see if theyll do a phone booking. Overall: Worth it. Enjoy it now! Recommendation to the facility: If you ever upgraded (either all or even one room) to a premium overall audio/video experience with in-seat service, it would be the ONLY way/reason to watch at a theater and you could charge way more. Then again, it seems you have no problem filling your seats every night, and for a fun low-key place, youre probably doing very well regardless.

I have to say that my experience echoes most of what Neru has written. My fiancée and I went to see Alice in Wonderland today and arrived about 30 minutes before the start of the film. We wandered into the bar area and ordered a drink after being told by the theater employee that any food and beverages (including alcohol) could be taken with us into the theater. We ordered drinks and popcorn, showed our tickets to the employee by the theater door, then took our food and drinks with us inside and sat in the very back row. About 10 minutes later the manager, AJ came in and told us we werent allowed to have alcoholic drinks and that hed have to take them from us. He offered us a refund, took our receipt and asked us to find him after the show. After he left, about half a dozen people turned around and said "Wait, you cant have alcohol in here?" as they all tried to hide the drinks they had also brought in. The same confused, awkward employee Neru mentioned also handed us dirty 3D glasses for the film and a wet-nap to clean them ourselves. We left them in the theater on the way out and he insisted we go back in and get them, essentially doing his clean-up job for him. After the show, we found AJ and he didnt recognize us at first, but then handed us a receipt to show that he credited our account the price of the drinks. When I asked if he credited the tip I had left the bar, he acted surprised at the question and said no, but that hed make sure to do that and to call the theater if it doesnt show up on my bank account. Why hed think that Id still want to tip them is beyond me... I didnt appreciate being singled out in the theater by AJ (he didnt confiscate anyone elses drinks.) Needless to say, we wont be returning to this theater anytime soon.

I went to the Livingroom Theaters today to see the new Alice In Wonderland film. When I went to the outside box office a blond girl told me I needed to go inside to buy a ticket. When I went inside the person at the box office ignored me for five minutes before selling me a ticket. The booth was filled with trash, and the staff appeared very distracted. After I finally got my ticket I went to get popcorn and was given a container topped with rancid unmelted butter. Inside the theater an awkward, confused employee kept running up and down the aisles handing out 3d glasses, and demanding that we return them to him in person, not leave them on our seats. The glasses he handed out were scratched and greasy, and instead of cleaning them himself, the employee gave out some sort of damp handy-wipe and insisted we clean them ourselves. Then, despite advertising that this theater has bar services, my friend was informed that she could only drink if she sat in the back of the theater, despite the fact that those seats were already occupied. Ive been to this theater in the past, and it was fine. I dont know why on this particular day I received such terrible service. I extracted a refund, after some considerable delay by the staff, and left before the movie started. Next time I want a movie and a drink I wont be wasting my time here, I will try the Mission Theater instead.

We have loved going to this theatre for some time now to catch a bite and see a show but we had never tried eating there in the evening. I give it two stars because the food and service seem to be fine during the daytime. We gave ourselves about 1.25 hrs to eat before the movie so we thought we had plenty of time. No one helped us to a table when we first arrived and then it was about 10 mins before anyone acknowledged us and only because I flagged down a server. The server was busy and had someone else take out order. Another 10 mins went by before getting our drinks and, again, only because I asked the server for them. She made it sound like the other guy was supposed to be helping us. Another 30 mins went by and I asked the guy if he had forgotten us and he told me, not very kindly, the reg server was helping us. She was too busy chatting with her friends about two feet away. HE came to our table, got extremely snippy with me and wouldnt let me get a word in edgewise until I interrupted him asking if he didnt think 40 minues was a long time to wait for dinner. He replied "yes but we cant do anything about that now can we." I cannot believe someone in a service-oriented business would talk to a customer like this, especially in this economy. Cmon, youre not THAT hip! Im really having a hard time deciding whether well go there again.
