Went in for the regular science pub and asked for a menu, was pointed to a sign with three things on it. I asked about the menus they used to have and was informed (rather coldly) that they "were a venue now." But you could still order a large cheese pizza for $21 plus extra for each topping. Okay... I ordered one with 2.5 toppings and it came to $28.50. The salads were $9 each. are you serious? Not worth it at all! Literally any other place in town except Sizzle Pie and chains have better pizza for better prices. Also, it seems the one who took my order was too busy being snarky at me to set the food alert blinker thing right--it never went off, and by the time my friend went to inquire what was taking so long, the pizza had cooled to lukewarm and they told us theyd been looking for us (not very hard apparently). I guess considering all this it makes sense for them to move away from food. It wasnt even all that great before when they had their full menu either. Im not sure why theyre trying to focus so hard on being a venue, though, because the seating for it is pretty bizarre, the WOW hall is just down the street and the acoustics arent great either. Anyway, theres also a sign that seems to proudly advertise "ice cold water" for $2.50, in keeping with the move toward venue-ship and rip-you-off prices. Oh well. At least when I went there was still a free water dispenser. When I come back for future science pubs Im not going to bother with the food anymore and just stick to beer.

The people at the door charged $2 more than the advertised door price, then charged an additional $2 re-entry fee. Both times I was searched more thoroughly than airport security. I get checking for weapons, but there is little reason to search inside of my cigarette pack. (Nothing but cigarettes) It would be pretty obvious if someone tried to smoke (something elese) inside. I enjoyed the show, but the security people should relax a little bit, because this is Eugene. They should also charge the advertised door price, and not charge a re-entry fee. Those actions left a bad taste in my mouth and would deter me from going to cosmic, when I could go to Hifi, Old nicks, or sam bonds, where I know Ill be treated like an adult.

Very nice. Got a groupon for $11 worth of $25 for lunch, got a large organic pizza for $28, plus a full glass of strawberry lemonade with refill ($3 value) for free.. my phone battery went dead, so a nice hostess even let me use their charger to show my groupon voucher. Pizza took no time to make, we (2) hardly ate half of it. It was good. All local organic ingredients, which we highly appreciate. Thanks Cozmic pizza for a lovely lunch!

Con: I eat a lot and think the price to get me full here is too high. $15 for four (large) pieces is too much. I could get a full pizza some places for that. The cashiers looked like they couldnt care less. Pro: Food is fine. They frequently have shows if youre into that stuff. Family friendly. Atmosphere is pretty good.

This is a classic Eugene pizza place that used to be called cosmic pizza. I think locals still call it that. The pies and drink selection is good, but the fact that they host shows is the best part of the restaurant by far. They have coffee if you get sleepy, but the music is what makes this place come alive.

Worst pizza I have ever had. Very thin, bland, and floppy. Definitely not filling, and they put barely any cheese on it, not even enough to cover the bread underneath. I only give it three stars because the venue is awesome itself, but eat before you go there or you will probably be disappointed.

Unfortunately the pizza at this location isnt nearly as good as their Broadway spot which is definitwly deserving of 4 stars. I got really sick eating at the doqnton location. The entire party agreed their various pizzas were half-ass.

This place has long been a favorite, despite the cost - not too bAd really, and I used to really love the bookstore!! The slightly sweet whole wheat crust and catering to vegetarian taste is worth the price of admission alone

My favorite pizza in Eugene. A little pricey but worth it. No better organic ingredients anywhere. The atmosphere is so comfy and chill. I love kickin back on the comfy couches for pizza during the shows and events there.

Whirled Pies has great food that is healthy and locally sourced, but they are also a venue for small shows and happen to book great bands and events! They only lost a star because of long waits and lack in seating.

So yummy. Ate here with some friends and we all LOVED it. A little spendy for the college girl but my stomach did not have that post pizza bomb feel which was a plus when doing yoga afterwards.

Service was great. Atmosphere was also great. The pizza was absolutely terrible and expensive. The pizza crust was saturated with grease to the point where it was just greasy mush.

I absolutely loved the place! Very friendly atmosphere and the best pizza that I have ever had! I hate onions and garlic and their sauce has none of them in it! ❤️❤️❤️

it takes more than toppings for pizza, this place has awful crusts. If you like the "alternative" toppings and crusts this is the place for you

Go to the other location. This is not the same pizza. It was cold and floppy. Disgusting. Not even comparable to the original location.

Pizza is expensive and taste is poor. But sometimes they have belly dancers at the restaurant - very fun!
