Family and friends came here on a Thursday night to grab some drinks after spreading a loved ones ashes earlier that night. We wanted to be merry and jolly for HER. When we arrived at the bar, we were prompted to pay $5/person for the band. We said okay and we would pay once we ordered because there were many of us fighting for the bill. The server came up abruptly asking if we needed more time and I asked which IPAs and porters they had on top and if they had a coffee stout. She looked angry and said "i dont know, its beer". So, I understand I must get something for their profits sake but her rude demeanor was enough for me to walk out. Then my older aunt decided to pay for the drinks and someone else would get the cover charges but the lady tried to keep her change and the bar was so loud that my aunt could not understand why the lady was showing her change and taking it away to this point, we realized what was happening and saved her by just giving her the cover charge so she can rightfully give my aunt her change. I will likely never return this establishment ever and I highly recommend finding something else, the taco truck on Main St has better food, service and environment. The band was good.

A casual, family-friendly, sports-bar/tavern with great food, shuffle board for the kids and talented band on some Thursday nights. Although some of the food is very comfort, they do have robust salads and many veggie options. Their tuna salad sandwich is excellent, fries are good too... Every thing I have ever tried here is great. Their wine menu could use some better options, and staff is generally very friendly. Nice place to have a bite after a round of golf, but not doggy friendly patio (which is very unusual as nearly every patio in Russian River and greater Sonoma County is). As a local with a dog, I cant visit here as much as Id like. Cleanliness isnt up to my personal standards, and keeping the flies out seems to always be an issue, but otherwise I do enjoy this local spot and recommend it for visitors.

My partner and I are from Sacramento. Its my parnters Birthday today so I said lets stop at this place for lunch before we head back home. Well biggest mistake. I have a service dog, we enter into this place as soon as I walk through the door a man stopped me at the bar and said no dogs! I told the rude man she is a service dog. This rude man started laughing at me and then said where are her tags? I told the rude man that my disability is not his concern, but if he would like to walk over and see her tags please feel free. Rude man laughed at me again, I think...his name was john?? he had grey hair, in a pony tail, and was very short. Anyways he said sit anywhere, Well we sat and I decided I will not spend one penny in this place. We were not welcomed at all. Poor service I give no stars.

The service and the food here was awesome. The Northwoods is just like a supper club from northern Wisconsin, they even have deer head mount on the wall. The drinks were good and the food was prepared exactly right. We had 3 steaks at our table of 6 and each was cooked exactly right. It was Mexican Monday and one of their Mexican dishes was really good also. Our server was friendly and polite and our food came out quickly. Prices were super reasonable, just like the Midwest. $133 bill for 6, including a few drinks (not with tip). I would eat here again if we ever return to this area.

I like to have the lunch special here and also come here for the dinners. The food is delicious and fresh. The food servers are professional and friendly. After dinner I like to have a glass of wine at the bar or outside on the patio overlooking the golf course. After seeing a play we stopped in for wine and appetizers on the patio. It was delightful!

The tap water tastes like the smell of the water from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland. Besides the joke, there is a bar, they play live sports in the Tvs, and the burgers taste great and their macncheese side is tasty. This is a great place to cool down after a round of golf.

Have been here a few times so far in 2016. Never been disappointed. Rib eye, flank steaks are very good. Wife loves their shrimp. Dinners come with sides and salad. Would really like to have dessert, but always too full. Service a little slow, but make up for it in friendlyness.

Great food. Been coming here occasionally for years and Ive never been disappointed. The views of the golf course no matter what time of day never disappoints. Sometimes it gets busy but it is always worth the wait.

They make and repair hangovers here. It has changed hands a few times. It is attached to the course, and food is really necessary if you play 18- lunch is ok but spendy for what it is. No complaints about the bar!

The atmosphere here is so heartwarmingly family like, which shares a special place with the most superbly delicious cuisine. The carrot cake and prime rib are to die for. Cannot wait for my next visit.

Northwood restaurant is cozy and comfy. You have to look on the walls at the beautiful artwork that is for sale. Thats right! There is some beautiful artwork that can beautify your own home!
