Went in for a quick drink, ordered a Long Island as was told by the bartender he couldnt make it (despite having a full bar). No problem, as Im mid "Ok, Ill take a.." The bartender says in an aggressive tone: "Heres our cocktail list." Great. "Ill take a mojito, can I get a double though?" "If I serve you a double, I cant serve you for the next hour." Ok. "Thats fine, Im just going to get a couple tacos to go and Ill drink it while I wait." Again, rudely: "yeah, we dont really have the supplies to make to go food. Well, beyond a box." Okay, still okay I tell myself. "Perfect, just put it in a box." Im sitting at a table and my food comes on a plate. I ask for a box and the runner says, "Do you just want it to go?" "Yeah, thatd be great, thank you." Went back the next day (to give a second chance) and apparently this experience was not usual, but I still will most likely never go back. Walk down the road to Maui. Much friendlier and you can smoke.

I love it here. The drinks and food are always good. I am often brought here by live music events. I dont live in the neighborhood but Ill happily drive across town to see a band play here. Important tip for music fans: get here early if you actually want to see the band. The sound set up and music part of this bar is great, but there isnt a stage. If youre not upfront, youre mostly staring at peoples heads. I believe all the music here is a suggested donation (every time Ive been it has been this way) which allows for many people to come in and drink and not pay to hear the music but still hear the music. Seems like a bad deal for the artists but I cant say for sure. Dont forget to bring cash for the artist when you come.

This place is the closest place to your home that isnt your home. You could literally hang out here all day and feel happy about it. Great food options, great drinks, friendly staff, low-key vibe, wifi.. I mean the only thing youre missing is a bedroom. I like hanging out here when Im in almost any mood- tired, wanting to read, wifi, with friends, outdoor patio hang out... it really has it all.

i really jive on this place. its classic portland hipster yes, BUT they have a super chill vibe, lots of table space community seating style and they make a mean drink. music events here are intimate and highly recommended in my book. all in all its charming, small and perfectly suited to the vancouver/williams corridor! love it. itll be competing for some of my time at vendetta now :P

Somewhat smaller music venue with a good bar and food options. I played here as a musician and we had a great experience. The sound guy was attentive and knowledgeable and we loved the intimate feel of the stage and surrounding tables. Fun cocktails and they boast a CBD beer!

This is a chill bar. Dont expect anything too fancy besides their tacos & margaritas (which are good.) A good place to become a regular of or relax after a day at work. Also definitely check out the open mic night Sunday evenings for a nice way to ease into the week.

Its the coffee shop that you remember hanging out at during times when coffee shops were cozy and you wanted to stay a while; not sterile faux euro coffee places. Also, lunch-sunday brunch, beers and wine in afternoon evenings, shows and a free movie night! love.

Hard to not love the small bare in Portland. The Waypost does not disappoint. Average prices with above average service and cocktails. I recommend any of their margaritas, especially the Hot Stuff. Ask for the bearded gentleman, Jared, hell take good care of ya.

I enjoyed our evening at this unique coffee shop/performance venue. We had the pot pies and enjoyed them. The people were extremely nice. They are about to do a renovation so check them out again late in June 2013.

Everything Ive ever wanted out of a bar. Good prices, dim lighting, heavy pours, truly wonderful bartenders, soul edifying open mics, hilarious trivia nights, and so much good music. A+++ Love you forever, Waypost.

I kept walking past this place thinking it was a texmex type food joint. Little did I know it was a lovely little haven for folks like me. Cocktails are pretty good. I really love the habinero tequila they carry.

They will give you a discount on certain days if you ride your bike there. Its an awesome little hang out with good food. Lots of seating areas, and sometimes they have live music. It has a great atmosphere!

Excellent neighborhood bar. The bartenders are some of the best in Portland. Great tacos and a stellar outdoor seating area. Music nightly and the clientele is friendly.

Fun place with good prices. Outdoor seating next to a garden. Bands sometimes, movies sometimes. Obviously some wanted to have fun with a bar and they nailed it

Cozy and inexpensive. Great outdoor seating adjacent to a community garden. The tinga chicken tacos are outstanding. Only wish they were open later.

Its a small space, but its super well-done. The Southwest-themed bar//venue space has a few options, but theyre all great. Definitely stop by.

Decent bar, but not the best food. The nachos are ok, but the great part is sitting outside, and drinking a beer from a mason jar.

Fun, local joint. Loud music. Good pub grub like tacos and nachos. House infused cocktails. Beer in mason jars. Mixed age crowd.
