Last week I bought a ticket ($18) for a show I wanted to see. Tonight I went to the venue when the headliner came on to see the show. The bouncer would not let me in because the ticket had ripped at the semi-perforated line in the week that I had it. He told me they returned both parts of the ticket to the customer when they entered the establishment. I dont know why you would put a semi-perforated line on a ticket if you were going to return both parts of the ticket to the ticket-holder and when I asked the bouncer he said "Are you a grown man?" I said "Yes" He said "Then you should be able to hold onto a piece of paper without ripping it." I stood outside the Wild Buffalo watching the show. I had paid $18 to see the show so I wanted to catch at least a few songs from the sidewalk. He came outside and made me back up a few feet. He then blew kisses at me from the doorway. No, I am not kidding. He blew kisses at me. Wild Buffalo, feel free to contact me if you want to dispute these claims, reimburse my money, or otherwise.

Heres a story. Went to the B.oB concert last week. It was one of the best sets Ive seen. Up until London Jae that is. London Jae gets on stage. Before his second song he asks the audience "Who here has ever bought p****?" Obviously not censored. I thought this was a dumb question, so as a response to his direct, albeit stupid, question I said "boo" just one time. He looked at me and threatened to beat my a** multiple times, which he did not follow through with. I stood silent and was not disruptive during the remainder of his performance. After he was done I was thrown out and didnt see who I paid to see. No response from the owner. If you go here, dont boo even if the performer asks a dumb and misogynistic question.

Ive been here as both performer and an audience member, and have had poor experiences with both. Played a show there set up by a friend. Cool. Sound guy was late and rushed through setup, could never get enough sound out of the monitors. Got two drink tickets. Cool? Except you can only use them on PBR or Ranier. I dont drink beer. I asked if I could use both to get a shot. Nope. Use both and pay the difference? Nope. Every show Ive been to sounds like crap- too loud and completely muddy. Its sad this is the only "venue" in town for bigger-ish shows.

Security n bar staff are excellent, this place books big acts often generally on Thursdays, in a town of ~100k its amazing to see these headliners, better then paying more to see them in a big venue in the big city on a fri or sat in my books. Other nights are a mix of local talent and fun events, not always my taste but this place def has local flavor.

Loud, distorted music. I attended the lipsync contest. Great idea, poor choice of time. The contest starts at 10 pm,on Mon.and ends in the wee hours, pretty much trashes Tues. Oh well,I can deal with that easier than the blatant partiality shown to obvious house favorite contestants. You need to have new blood.

The music the wild buff brings to town is a pretty great selection, the drinks are strong enough that you dont have to keep going back to the bartender constantly, love the place to death, one of the few places in town that gets this homebody out of the house for an always awesome evening

The Wild Buffalo is my only reason to drive to Bellingham! International acts and local talent 7 days a week, an amazing ambiance and Ive always had the best service! The staff is always very personable and accommodating. Best vibe out of any nightclub Ive been to in Washington!

My band will never play there again. They cheat you on the door money big time and lie about the numbers. If you have to play the WB be sure to post someone near the door to count heads! Why do you have to give at least one star here?

Finally tried the Wild Buffalo. BIG MISTAKE! $10 each cover for a joke band. By the third song I was asking for my money back, and couldnt get it. Left expensive drinks on the table to get out of there. One star is too many.

great place but i noticed they tend to have a habit of prolonging the time between opening acts and the headliners (to try and sell more drinks), thus most big shows end extremely late.

Wide variety of music every night of the week. Good beer and drink selection. Only downside to this place is the riff raff that constantly clutter the outside.

I always enjoy myself, they let me bring my pet unicorn to shows. Ive found the sole to a shoe, people get freaky and dance their shoes off, I like this.

The Buffalo is a pretty fun place. They have some good relevant bands and a good sized bar. The prices and service seem to be pretty good as well.

One of my favorite venues in the PNW! Sound system isnt the greatest to be honest, BUT the friendly environment more than makes up for it :)

Best music venue in town. The sound equipment is my biggest concern. They seem to have issues at times.
