I had such high hopes for their new so-called "Bourbon Whiskey". I was excited for the fact that we had another local distiller in Ohio and practically right in my back yard. I eagerly paid the $38.50 for a bottle at the local liquor store and couldnt wait to get it home to savor it. From the moment I opened the bottle and took that first whiff all that excitement and anticipation just drained completely out of me. It smelled not at all like true bourbon should. It smells like it was aged in old port wine barrels. I took a reluctant sip and it was just awful; it tastes like some sort of cheap Slivovitz (European plum brandy) and if youve ever tasted a variation of slivovitz then you know how bad it is; not at all what real bourbon is about. My first thought as to why their labeling this "bourbon" is because they know bourbon is extremely hot right now and their trying to capitalize on the spirits prolific name. Obviously, this isnt Kentucky and this is not at all a Kentucky Straight Bourbon recipe, but to try and put a bourbon label on this bottle is insulting. You may have gotten me to pay for this once, but theres no way in the world Ill ever make that mistake again.

Really nice guys! I tried all 3 of their products and I like them all. The bourbon was my favorite, I am a bit tired of the Kentucky ones so its nice to try a new local flavor. The moonshine is great in everything I drink haha. The Grappa? It was very interesting. Reminds me on Cognac and had a good sipping taste. I wish these guys the best and I hope they take off to the big time :-D

Best place ever to learn about grappa, moonshine, bourbon making. Everybody is extremely polite and would help you understand the process, what they are doing. Testing the products in the shop is just like being at home and distilling your own liquors. Love the products, the people, the entrepreneurs spirit.

Stop in this afternoon and got a tour of the whole facility! Owner is very friendly and knowledgable. Sampled the moonshine, bourbon and grappa! Purchased moonshine and bourbon. The bourbon was one of the best Ive ever had! Highly recommend!
