We went there a few days ago and bought a hermit crab. The staff was super friendly and made sure we got everything we need for the crab. Unfortunately, the crab died shortly after we brought it home. When I called Sea Oddities to ask about returns/exchanges/etc, I was told I could come in and pick up a new crab free of charge. I got a call back about ten minutes later, and the woman told me she had decided to get the crabs out and check them, and she discovered that they all had something wrong with them. Because of this, she has ordered a new crab from her suppliers for me, free of charge, and she said she would call me when it comes in. I was very pleased to work with actual professionals, and even more pleased that they took responsibility and initiative to fix the issue. I will most definitely be shopping from Sea Oddities in the future.

I have been to this pet store many times and I can honestly say I have never had a very pleased experience.The two women working their are not friendly and act like they get mad if you ask them a question.We were their the other day and asked a question and the older woman on staff said I dont know I have a migraine and walked off and left us standing their.We were shocked so we asked the younger lady they question and she said did you ask her we said yes and repeated what she said and she says well I dont know you will have to ask her..Not a way to do business! They sometimes have nice fish and they are healthy fish.But they are over priced on what they have and stock is very limited especially now,.Not sure if this store is going out of business or what but they have nothing right now.

I drove to Kingsport after work from Johnson City. I rushed through traffic, found a parking spot only to find locked doors at 5:20. On the door, website and voicemail it states hours to 6:00 on Tuesday. The woman inside seemed to be with another woman and her dog and refused to acknowledge I was even at the door trying to get in. Im self employed; I would never treat my customers in such a manner. Remember that your customers are the only reason you get to open and close your doors every day and that they come first.

Kathy is awesome, very knowledgeable about all corals and fish and very willing to help you with anything you need help with. My husband and i are beingers to the salt water hobby and kathy has helped us alot with water quality tank mates and placement of corals in the tank. Will never go to another place for idvice or products in this hobby

We went there looking for aquatic plants and left with an amazing little ferret. (we have others but we werent expecting to find a Real Canadian ferret at an aquarium store, lol) We spent an hour talking with the owners, who were very friendly, before we left. But, they dont sell any ferret supplies, even food.

Such a great little place. I say little, but really the store is quite spacious. They didnt have a whole lot of variety in terms of equipment, but their fish and freshwater shrimp were excellent! Got a nice piece of driftwood too. Couldnt be happier with my visit.

Rude employee and apparently no fish are for sell or at least none that I asked about I guess my money is no good there oh well pet cove will get my business since they are always nice and helpful. Wish I could give zero stars but thats not an option

Rude and just strange people. Never open the store on time. Have lots of space to make a nice store if they wanted to, but they choose to just throw junk in half of the store and turn the lights off.
