Robinson preserve is one of the nicest outdoor areas in the Sarasota Bradenton Area. I think if you like walking, biking, kayaking, or paddle boarding, youd be hard-pressed to find a better place to do it. Theres plenty of wildlife to see comma and while its a popular destination, it never feels crowded or to close to civilization. The reviews from a tower, and the access to Tampa Bay if youre feeling adventurous. We go frequently, and Id recommend it to anyone seeking outdoors activities that are free.

Robinson Preserve is best entered by going north on 75th St NW, turn left on 17th Ave NW and drive all the way to the end (99th St). There are biking, roller blading, walking paths, and observation tower, canoe/kayak trails, picnic areas and an historic house that has nature and history information. I WISH Google would get their act together and put Robinson on the map. It has been open over 3 years.

Nice place to bikey... except people on foot get angry when you pass them without an "audible warning" even though they saw you coming. Just tell them to get a life and keep on keepin on.... *takes last drag of cigarette, flicks it, walks off into the sunset*

Beautiful area, nice long trail to walk. Observation Tower boasts an amazing view of Tampa Bay. Also historical home on the property had interesting information to show.
