Customer service sucks at this place. I went in specifically to purchase items that would have easily totaled $350+. I wasnt acknowledged when I went in, nor was I acknowledged as I was browsing their reptiles and related merchandise. Instead, the owner ignored me in favor of a conversation about painted turtles. Nice. I spent well over 15 minutes patiently waiting for some form of customer service or even a "Ill be with you in a minute". which would have been totally fine with me and I wouldnt have gotten even remotely irritated if there had been just some form of polite acknowledgement. This wouldnt be the first occurrence either, as I and a few other people, have been treated similarly. I wanted to support a local business, even though a large amount of their inventory is grossly overpriced. Instead, I went up the road to Pet Supplies Plus and was immediately helped, politely interacted with, and had a very enjoyable shopping experience. The snakes I breed and care for are quite happy with their upgraded home. When Sea Tide Aquarium was at their original location, customer service was fantastic. Ever since they moved to the new location, it seems the store has gone down in quality. Very unfortunate. I hope this review at least causes them to give a better effort towards improving their customer service. A simple greeting and a friendly smile will go a long way towards improving your customer base. Especially since it takes zero effort at all, even if embroiled in a riveting discussion about painted turtles, to say hi.

Sea tide is a wonderful place and for those of you leaving negative comments go to pet supplies plus and look at there 15+ geckos in the same tank dying. As a gecko breeder there manager gave me 2 of there leopard geckos to try and save from death (one was saved the other was not) there crickets are 10% higher in price. So if you see a dirty tank or a smell you dont like just look at the quality you are getting at sea tide which is hands down a better place than a place that dont care about there animals. I have done business at sea tide for many years and All of the employees at sea tide are more than willing to help all of there customers

As a repeat customer, I love Sea Tide! The animals are in much better condition than at other pet stores in town. I always go there and always refer others there! It is not dirty and the fish tanks are clean. I love this store and never go to the other store in town. The animals get more individual care and always seem happy and healthy. And yes, the staff might be helping someone else sometimes and might be busy. They will get to you. Have some patience! It is a small business so there is usually only one, maybe two people working at a time. The staff is very knowledgeable and is always super helpful!

I loved this store! I had been wanting a beta for such a long time but everywhere we went they looked so sad and sickly in those little plastic containers.We went in here and they were swimming in a normal tank with other little fishes. He looked so happy and healthy I couldnt wait to get him home! It is for sure a mom and pop style shop though, nothing fancy about it but the owners seem to really care about the animals. All of them looked so much healthier than petland, petsmart, etc.

Their poor oscar had terrible hole in head, their tanks are in horrible condition. It was cramped, smelled, and was over priced with hardly any selection of fish. I will never go back there nor would I encourage people to buy from them. Someone needs to call animal services to get in there and see the quality of the animals they are selling! To give you a idea of what I mean, think of how Walmart keeps their tanks! Ding ding ding...Exactly the same as Sea Tide Aquarium!

The woman working the counter was very rude. We were not allowed to pick out the fish we bought and ended up taking a very sickly looking pond fish. I have yet to see the fish since and am convinced it has died. However their "no return" policy is rediculous. The workers were very rude in explaining that if the fish died, our water was not of acceptable quality. In other words, this was a waste of a ten dollar fish.

The place is always dirty and it is very cramped in there. The people who work there are either elitist and only tell you how wrong you do everything, or completely uninterested in helping you. The people there are very intelligent and well versed in just about every animal, but getting information out of them without them turning their nose up at you is very hard.

This petstore is absolutely horrid. The aquariums have so much algae that it actually grows on some of the fish. The tanks are overcrowded, dirty, and look pitiful. The selection is crap. The customer service is nonexistent. It is an all around horrible store. It needs to be shut down, or sold to someone capable of operating it.

This is the best place for reptiles and fish. My husband and I always go there. We have bought three lizards and a snake from them. All of the animals have been healthy. They also have an excellent selection of pets to choose from. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Really, the only pet store in town Ill go to.

Today was our first visit to Sea Tide and we were very impressed with the staff. They seem genuinely interested in providing their animals with excellent care and were very friendly and attentive. They have a nice selection and healthy-looking animals.

I love the Seatide Aquarium!I got my first hamster there.He has been,was,and always will be the best hamster Ive ever gotten.He was a teddy bear hamster and I was able to get such a good hamster there because of the service.
