Absolute worse fishing Ive ever experienced. No bites using live bait or lures. Even tried fly fishing and didnt get anything. Way overgrown, way too much algae. Have maybe 20 ft of available fishing water in certain locations. Didnt even see anything but 2 inch bluegill everywhere. If youre lucky youll possibly catch a 4 inch, 1 oz bass. Great wildlife. Lots of turtles, frogs, birds, and bugs. Its a great park adventure but worthless if youre looking for somewhere to fish

Though smaller than nearby Chippewa Lake, Spencer Lake provides the same great bass/bluegill catches, coupled with a private almost "exclusive" feeling experience.

Largely unimproved wildlife preserve. Good parking and boat launch areas. Good for fishing, bird watching, bug collecting, and the occasional arborist.

Awesome place to hike around with are dogs. Also fun to take the kayaks out and paddle around. Sometimes go hunting here as well.

What small quiet place, nice to take the kids fishing or work the dogs. Never very crowded, a good place for the family.
