Frankly, Im shocked by all the positive reviews. My summary for this place would be "keep on driving, no reason to stop here". The staff barely tolerated our presence and frankly acted like they couldnt less if they had customers there or not. We watched as two other couples quickly knocked back their glasses of wine and got out as fast as they could after experiencing the same quality of service we were exposed to. The decor is the blandest of any winery in the area - consisting of Value City Furniture tables arrayed in a non-descript common area. The wine is just "ok". We didnt bother with the food as the menu seemed to be an afterthought. Again, I have to express puzzlement over the positive reviews Ive read about this place. You can get better service, better wine and/or better food at any other winery in the area...so....why bother? Maybe I would have gone softer if any of the staff had bothered to smile or say hello, but...there you go. Oh, and if you only get two glasses of wine, which most couples will do, you cant pay with a credit card - get this....it comes to $9.95 and they wont take a credit card unless you spend $10. Really? This will be conveyed to you in the same "why are you wasting my time" manner in which they impart all information. We will NOT be back.

If your looking for a place that has quality wines at an affordable price, Laurello Vineyards is the place to go. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. The service is prompt and friendly. Their pizza is tasty and fresh while being made in a wood fired oven. Pizza made the way it should be. Simple, light yet filling. Their pizza is anti commerical, old school and as real as it gets. Salads are also available, One salad is big enough for two people! unless of course your extra hungry :-) On to the wines. If you like reds, be prepared to spend an evening comparing and contrasting what you may want to bring home. Cosmo, Rodavi, Cabernet Franc. Oh the decisions! its all very good. Full bodied or light, they will probably have something you like. You wont believe that your drinking wine from Ohio!!!! I have been to dozens of vineyards and wineries all along the south shore of Lake Erie, from Cleveland east all the way to Buffalo, Laurellos has put together the complete package of wine, food and atmosphere. There place is leaps and bounds above the competition. Get there!

Walked in and wasnt greeted. Weve never been here so didnt know the protocol. We waited for a few minutes to see if we should seat ourselves or not and ended up having to stop someone walking by to see what we should be doing. Once we got someones attention, we asked to taste some wine. We were given one cup to have between the three of us for a white. After we decided to get that one, we wanted to try a red. WE WERE SERVED THE RED IN THE SAME CUP AS THE WHITE. Hard to believe this place is a real winery as they cross contaminate the wines for tastings. We bought two bottles of wine and ordered two flat bread pizzas. As a previous reviewer said, they were served on paper plates, were incredibly small, BURNED ON THE BOTTOM, and worst of all, we were told to go get them. So we paid 80+ dollars to seat ourselves, taste a red mixed with a white which we had to split between us, eat burned pizza, and get our own food. At that point, I dont even remember if the wine was any good.

Dont know how this place got these reviews.... just left there and the chardonnay, the josephine and the pgnot tasted flat. We walked in (Sun. Aug 22, 10) and the woman bartender gave me a taste of the chardonnay (bad), she then poured a pignot, that wasnt any better, finally ending it with the Josephine, NO THANKS. I was charged $3, only asked for 2 samplings. Im really not that picky with wine but in this case, glad I sampled first, before wasting money on a glass. We moved on to the Ferrante Winery for a nice dinner, better wine and better service. I believe the bartender was a major factor with how we felt leaving the winery also. Maybe its the end of summer and shes "tired".

Not really good. All the food is served on plastic plates and is the warm water you have to get yourself with no ice in a plastic solo cup. There isnt waiters you have to goto a counter to order. The cheese plate (served on a plastic plate) had crackers right out of a Ritz box still in the wrapper and all. The cheese was cut from a block and it still had the wrappings on the outside that had to be peeled off. Also we were the only people there under 60. Just FYI so you know what your getting into.

This is a MUST STOP every time we are in town. Many times we stop at GOTL just for Laurellos. Where else can you get wood fire pizza, with a gluten free option, and is tasty! Everyone is knowledgeable and accommodating to gf needs. The fireplace is cozy. The staff is friendly. The wines are top notch. Ive been there with the hubs, friends and just the children, and have yet to have a bad experience!

Im torn. I loved their wines, but they gave me the wrong wine and I didnt realize until I got home four hours later (stopped on a road trip, so I cant easily go back and ask for an exchange). They also messed up and charged me full price instead of giving me the loyalty discount. I want to like them, but I dont even see myself ordering online from them at this point.

The wine and prices are a lot better than some of the other wineries around. If I could add a suggestion it would be this: maybe expand your Italian dishes a little more and have entertainment on Sunday afternoons. This will surely bring in the crowds. I feel this was the only things that were missing. Spaghetti and eggplant would be wonderful!

Laurellos cast tasting was very disappointing.I cant even tell you the taste of there wine because they were so stingy with the pour. Come on Laurello the other 4winerys give a nice pour so you could at least taste the wine.
