The Mercer House Winery had a vendor table at the Lexington Wine Walk last weekend. I went with a group of 6 girls and we were all excited to try the Coffee Wine that Mercer House offered. We waited in line for 15 minutes or so...this was the longest line at the event. When we got to the front the man pouring the wine was so rude. I was trying to explain to him that I live right around the corner from the winery and I had heard great things about the Sunday Live Music, wanted to get a group together for a tour, etc. He basically told me to stop talking that he was busy and the line was long. The coffee wine was good, the sip that he poured me, and when I asked for a little more he told me to go to the back of the line. COMPLETE JERK. I have shared my experience with others who were there that day and they were all of similar opinions. If that man was an employee he needs to be fired and if he was the owner I will never patronize his business. I myself am a small business owner as well. I would never treat a client or customer that way.

We orginally scheduled for the tour for my Mothers 65th birthday but mother nature was not having it! Shannon and Kim worked with us and the weather and we quickly changed it to an indoor wine tasting. They explained every wine, what it was made of and what field it came from. They made us feel welcome the entire time. They allowed me to bring in a birthday cake for my mom and Shannon even took pictures for her to remember her special day. This was a wonderful time and everyone in our group fell in love with at least one of the wines. We are planning to do this again! Make sure you ask Kim for one of her wine smoothes....to die for!!! Thanks again guys for making my moms birthday so special!

Found this winery on google, so I brought my mother and niece here. We are from NYC and wanted to try a winery. This is a very nice, calming and pleasant place to be. No complaints. Please visit as they value their customer.
