Open racism. African American guests wearing the same clothing as some Caucasian guest and they were denied access in the club. Cost of one nigh stay totaled over $400 bucks while being watched by security the entire night. Called prior to share that a small gathering for my birthday was going to take place and later attend the club the Vault inside of the hotel. Total of 9 guests and security said we were making too much noise in the first hour and all 9 guests had not arrived. 30 minutes later the same complaint and security were outside of the room listening. I opened the door and then they wanted to speak to my husband about the noise. Also, said 3 of our guests had to leave and the max was 6 guests in a double bed suite with a pit couch. I woke up to kids running in the room next door and their mom yelling and screaming. I called down to make a report and the front desk said they will call lost prevention. This is how African Americans are treated and we were pulled by others that night sharing awful stories. I seen a group African American Veterans arriving on a party bus and 1 of the men being turned away for wearing dressy tennis shoes while white Caucasian man was let in right pass them. I called ahead for my guests and I was told by the doorman no and that I should have checked the internet. I mentioned that I called and he said I could speak with management. After seeing how unfair the doorman choices were I spoke to the same manager about the dress code and she said it is totally up to the doorman. Unbelievable!! As one of my guest began to film the Veterans being turned away they told her to shut off her camera or leave the building. Beautiful hotel, horrible management, security and doormen. Bellhop and all of the employees were like spies with secret ear gear on to report any and everything. My birthday turned out to be a planned mess. Thanks to choosing the wrong hotel.

Stayed at this hotel on Saturday night after the Cavs game. Drove past it and thought it looked nice so I called and booked a room. Besides the service being ridiculously slow, (waiting 2 hours for blankets) I found a large blood stain on the comforter. I called downstairs to complain, the man I spoke to said our room would be compensated. I got a bill in the morning, so I called again and they put me on hold and said they handled it. I go downstairs to check out and Im told that I have to pay for the room. I stood there for a good 20 minutes going back and forth with Adam the supervisor and Isaac. They told me that I should have magically been able to read the guys mind and known that they would only be comping me $50 instead of the entire room. If Im told the room is being compensated, Im going to assume its the entire room. I didnt ask them to comp my room, they offered and I thought the issue was settled. I confirmed with them AGAIN in the morning as well, only to have to argue before heading home. Another thing that irritated me is that when I asked for a manager, Adam told me there was no manager available which I didnt believe. I even asked another employee who told me there is always a manager during the 1st and 2nd shifts on site. I told them point blank I wasnt giving them authorization to charge my card and now my file is "open" and I will be contacting a manager to get this situation handled. Overall, I was thoroughly underwhelmed, annoyed and disgusted with my experience at this hotel. At the end of the day it isnt about the money but the fact that I was told something twice only to be surprised when I come downstairs. If youre not willing to comp your guests when there are issues, DONT OFFER TO IN THE FIRST PLACE.

My significant other and I had such a wonderful time. We had a stay on the RSVR floor and had such a great weekend! Our concierge Alex was over and beyond exceptional service with great knowledge of the city. He also has a great hookup for cookies and milk if interested and in room massages. Everything from our room to the restaurant to the lobby was over the top with the unique design. Our housekeeping was also had wonderful personality with great conversation when we had a run in. I could sun bathe and relax on that rooftop for 5 more days! I am missing our weekend already. Only little things that could use tweaking that would make a five star visit. One was the Valet. It was less than a adequate experience compared to all of the extremely satisfying experiences during our stay. They didnt open our doors or move in attempt to. There also was no offer to carry our bags or assist in anyway. We experience Valet at a tenth percent of the cost and felt more attended to. It is an easy fix with some good grooming of the younger employees. The manager of the Valet was wonderful and jumped out for our check in and personally parked our vehicle which was extremely appreciated. Second the Lobby was always noisy day and night. We had a great checkin considering the attendant. She introduced us to many enhancements we werent expecting but unfortunately she was hoarse since she had to yell over the crowd for the rooftop and club which seemed placed at the same spot as checkin. Our stay was beyond wonderful and could easily be one of the best spots to stay in the North East. We will definitely be back for another weekend get away.Thank you so much!

I brought my dog here for two-day stay to solely have a breather--a mini vacation. I was sadly disappointed. Service was sub-par with no one in the hotel saying "Hello" when they see you, no extra-ordinary service, just melancholy workers that made you feel you were the burden for interrupting your work day. The women who checked us in was sarcastic and hurried us when we started asking questions. THE VAULT IS ADVERTISED AS "Open 24/7" AND ITS ONLY OPEN ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. As well as the theatre...literally only has like one event a week. Youre also promised "a doggy welcome present, and comfortable bedding for your dog" ....nothing of the sort. And the "dog park" is a large room with light post decorations on the walls. The amenities that we were so excited for and were heavily advertised on the website werent even available... The waitstaff was under whelming and annoyed with customers coming in late for dinner. "Late" being an hour before they close. Overall, sincerely not worth the money for the service, quality, and value. Really disappointing.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary. We live on the east side of Cleveland, so we werent far from home, but felt like we were in another world. It was an amazing experience. Everyone we encountered during our stay was incredibly professional, friendly and knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. When we checked in, we were asked for our floor preference. We said high. We were assigned a room on the 12th floor so we could enjoy the rooftop bar (same floor). The views from the rooftop were amazing. In one direction, you could see the lake. In another, the skyline. In another, Progressive Field. After dinner, we returned to find champagne and desserts in our room--an unexpected treat for our anniversary. We slept in the next day and ordered room service for breakfast, which was prompt and delicious. We raved about our stay to everyone! Thank you for pampering us!
