Loud and obnoxious. I hate the front part of this bar. Do yourself a favor; get in and go straight to the back in their enclosed outdoor/patio area. Much better music and you can actually hear yourself think and talk to other people. Not to mention the service is much better out there despite only having a few select canned beers in the back area. The bartenders at this bar in the front part are worthless and rude as ef. The back patio area is the only place Ill hang out at if my friends drag me to this place.

Bar, stage, and outside back area. Have a look online to see their music schedule and come to a local music hall to hear great local music. The inside has lots of room and is well segmented to make sure the bar does not get too much crowd from the people watching the music. Cover charge depends on the acts of the night. Parking is available on street (free evenings and weekends) and in some cash lots nearby (usually $5-10).

Great sound system, lighting, plenty of space! Staff was very cool and engaging, friendly atmosphere and great use of artistic space inside and the outside area! Only draw back I heard about, while at the event was only beer and wine served. But that was only a small complaint by a few. #904Originals Loves 1904!

The staff here is rude, disrespectful and uneducated. They threw my friend out for being a white girl there to see a Black band while calling her a racist and shoving her to the ground. We will not be back and charges are pending on said security man. Go in with caution.

THE BEST place to see live music in Jacksonville. The staff is amazing, the sound system rocks and they have consistently great music spanning all genres. Beer selection is too notch for a venue and the prices are super reasonable. I ❤ 1904

No security for the lightweight drunk hipsters that fight and get kicked out. "Security" consisted of some 57" guy who couldnt even throw someone out and ended up knocking a girl down without apologizing. Disgrace of a bar.

For an out of towner this was an ok hole in the wall concert hall-bar. The sound guy seemed lazy during the shows and didnt adjust sound for the microphones accordingly.

Went here last night for burlesque show. It was pretty good. The drinks were excellent the place was very clean. Could use a cosmetic make over. But over all a nice spot.

Great place for live music! They also have a courtyard out back if you wanna take a break from the music or the crowd. Pretty decent selection of beers.

Hole in the wall venue! Great place, good beer. Thursdays has "Throwback Thurs".. Play Nintendo, drink beer, listen to the oldies. Suweet

Great lighting, pretty decent sound system with window shaking bass. Holds maybe 150 tops. Bar has an okay selection too.
