Great atmosphere, the LED cube above the bar is awesome. The decor and artwork is well done. I like the layout. It can feel somewhat small and cramped if the place is packed. They usually play GREAT music. My main problem is that when a club feels like Vegas you get treated like you were in Vegas. Which means "you dont matter, get to the back of the line". Which is always full. In fact they usually have 3 lines... Public, list and VIP; and you are always waiting. If you want to bribe the bouncers you HAVE to drop a hundred, a 20 will get you laughed at. Ive been there about 5 times and 3 of them I spent half the night outside waiting on the 2 people in front of me to get in... One night we were there for a birthday. A girls birthday... They had a dozen chicks in their entourage and I think I was 1 of 3 guys. They made half the people pay cover because they said "we already let in all of your party". Yes I still had to pay even though we were on the list. and that wasnt a bribe... that was wait 30 minutes in line to give a name and then have to pay anyway. If you can get in the door its a good club. If you want to make a night of it get there early. If you have impulsive friends who bounce from one place to another, dont bother...

This place has to be the worst club I have ever been to. Its sad to see that a club with potential can go down the drain due to poor management and uneducated security. We went here, the environment was not very good, drinks were overpriced, and security tended to be hostile towards everyone as if they had a competition going on. We were there for a couple hours and saw them aggressively handle multiple people; very immature and unfriendly environment. Also, upon entering the club the individuals at the entrance will make you wait a while to get in if you dont pay them off, they always ask for money, very sad. As a management consultant, I really would like for upper management to contact me in regards to their current employees, they are losing money. Dont be deceived by the look of the entrance because you will be disappointed.

Just re-opened after this so-called "renovation." Was excited to see if Mint would go back to how it used to be - great crowd, great music, & amazingly fun nights.....but I was soooo disappointed. The DJ on the Saturday (grand re-opening night) played nothing but rap music for a majority of the night. This is how the crowd and mint turned so terrible before the renovations. Whoever is in charge of hiring the D.Js should be fired. They are going to bring Mint right back to the ghetto status it left off with. They should be playing house music here as they did when it first opened a couple years back. GET IT TOGETHER MINT!

Get here early. The earlier you get here the less time you will spend waiting in line. Try to get on the list too. It will make your night much easier. There is room for improvement went it comes to staff. I can understand some of the things they do to keep people in check, but there is room for improvement. I suggest Fridays here if you go early you will have a good time if you are looking to dance your you know what off. Good music, keeps the crowd pumped all night.

Worst club in Scottsdale dance floor is way too small setup is horrible accommodating to more people coming in. Worst part is I wore a vintage hat to the club they said no hats on the certain day and to put it inside a bucket with security, get inside the club and people are wearing hats. Later I come out and my hat is stolen. Compared to other clubs that atleast keep track of your belongings their security and management setup is the worst. Never going back.

We decided to go here instead of Vegas, and it turned out to be a good call. Good club music selection and the music volume was just right. Five star rating for original design, unique layout and service. The outdoor bar was very accessible and the staff was professional and attentive. The food selection was great and we all got to share and taste a number of different dishes. Everyone in our group had a great time and well definitely go back.

I wish I could give this place a zero rating. Every time I have been here, the place has been unsafe, people with arms on them and the bouncers are completely out of their mind. You should be more scared of the violent bouncers in there than anything out in the world. The mint treats their customers like theyre trash unless you bribe them and put money in their pocket. Worst place to spend your free time, do not go.

The overzealous bouncers in the bathroom are a bit much. I have no idea why 6 male bouncers need to sit around in the coed bathroom all night. It really made me uncomfortable. We had dinner reservations for 20 people at 7 pm. The food was good. The bouncers kicked us out of our table at 9pm because they overbooked. You would think they would give us plenty of time at our table when we spent over $950 on dinner.

Went to The Mint on my 21st birthday, it was on a Wednesday so I didnt think it was going to be good but I was wrong! The music was awesome and the drinks were even better! It was packed by 11:00pm. I hate overcrowded places and this place was not even close to overcrowded. Theres so much room inside and out that theres no way someone can feel like its too packed. I loved it and cant wait to go again!

Have had nothing but great experiences here at The Mint! Although bouncers do sometimes get a bad rap at many places in Old Town, they do make sure youre taken care of. Although I was still within limits, one bouncer provided me an energy drink out of the blue to make sure I was still decent and not entirely impaired.

This place was empty, I stood for 1 hour with broken leg, the bouncers laughed, despite my crutches and pleas for help they left me. Meanwhile the so solid crew marched straight in -- what do I need to do to be part of this movement? anyhow I will never return... chellobye

Great club, the only thing is if you come here on a Saturday you may be waiting in line for a while; even with a large group of girls. The DJs play great house music and I would say it is one of my favorite places to dance the night away in Scottsdale.

Was cool, had VIP partied, drank, danced. Turnt up with Lil Boosie in the club & Chris Johnson. was wack when we payed so much $ for a few hours instead of 1 night..Need to STOP kicking ppl out of the table they played for!!

This place is exactly what you would expect. High dollar decor, club music, shi shi drinks and scantily clad waitresses. Great patio with good views. Close proximity to Old Town, no hassle entry. Great bathrooms by the way.
