Venue is very nice, great location, great space, I only give it two stars because the older women that rents the property out totally ruined the experience for the renters and the guest. I myself rented this location to host a friends baby shower and a few years later also attended another friends baby shower and in both instances dealt would the overbearing behavior of the rental manager... just very unprofessional and boarderline rude. During the last hour of both events we were rushed to clean the property and were subjected to being scolded like we were children being told to clean our rooms. She was very pushy and made numerous people uncomfortable... This happened a year ago, and a few years prior, Im only writing this review now because I myself have been looking for a nice rental property for my very own baby shower and this property would be perfect had it not been for the property manager so Im choosing to look elsewhere...

This was a perfect venue for our family reunion. Lovely trails around the house and down by the fishing pier to take in the beautiful Lake Erie view while catching up with family. There is also a public playground across from the house for the kids. The indoor accommodations allowed for comfort and ease to share a meal. The house is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. Our volunteer host was nice and helpful. Coming back next year!
