Because I have stayed at this hotel 3 times over the past 4 years, I decided to give it another try this year during our annual trip to FL. There were a few things that happened, but after bringing it to the front desk, they were very considerate in making things right with us. Outside of those things, on the first morning after the "breakfast buffet and "to order" omelet station", my sister and I became dreadfully ill in our stomachs. This is the very first meal of the day, and both of us became very ill after the same omelet breakfast. The conditions of the hotel are evidently becoming worse as each year passes. It is in desperate need of restoration from a mildew/paint, carpet replacement standpoint, as well as many areas within dining area. The place is just very dim, and it does not give a feeling of cleanliness when youre there to dine. The swimming pool appeared and smelled very dirty and the fitness center was equally unsanitary. With the flow of traffic that comes through this hotel in the summer time, it should definitely be up to standard with cosmetic appeal and sanitation. It is not. Each time I visit the hotel, there are always conferences going on. This hotel should not have the appearance inside the rooms that it does; from rusting bathroom fixtures and bubbling paint in the roof of the bathroom from mildew and humidity. If the corporate executives/board members for this brand considered staying a few nights here to truly see what it "looks" like, they would be ashamed to be affiliated.

Stayed for a family reunion and everyone had a problem with their hotel room. When we entered the hotel our first night, we noticed some problems immediately. The bathroom wasnt properly cleaned. The sheets looked like they had already been used. The fridge was dirty and had hair in it. We cleaned as much as we could and tried to make do. The biggest problem revealed itself later: our bathroom ceiling started leaking in multiple places. When we went downstairs to ask for another room, the front desk was courteous enough about it and we moved that night. Our second room smelled much worse than the first. Smell is a consistent issue with this hotel--we had several family members who ended up with rooms that reeked of sewage, enough that they had to move. We ended up staying in our second room, but not because there werent any issues. Again, there were problems with cleanliness. Again, we cleaned as much as we could and decided to settle for what we got. Again a bigger problem revealed itself. When we turned on the faucet in our room, the entire faucet popped off spurting water everywhere and soaking all of our things. And when we asked for towels, we were told that there was a shortage hotel wide and that we could only have two (there were three of us in the room). Halfway into our stay, one of the lamps stopped working and so did the phone. The air conditioning in the lobby also broke during our stay. Id very much recommend avoiding this hotel until it undergoes some major renovations.

Save your money and stay somewhere else. I was very excited when I originally booked this "4-star" hotel for my husband and I to enjoy a weekend away. Its original appeal for me was that its a nicer brand and they allow pets for a small fee. Upon arrival, entering the hotel, your arrived with an overpowering chemically purfume small that immediately irratatrs the sense. The hotel was recently remodeled which was a selling point when I bookes, but the catch is that there is a separate part of the hotel, that even requires separate elevator access, and they dont seem to have been remodeled at all. This is where my husband and I ended up. We had booked a balcony suite, because we romanticized nights sitting out and drinking wine. Well, this seems to be a feature only really designed for smoking. There is not a single piece of patio furniture on the balconies. Nothing at all. Our room became unbearably hot at night and the AC never seemed to kick in. I could hear the fan running, but no AC. Room service dishes sat scattered in our hallway for DAYS. A maid on our floor walked by them. The staff wasnt very nice either and seemed to border on rude or dismissive. I could have had a 100% better stay if I had chosen a hotel like Hampton Inn or Marriott.

Im here at the hotel now, for seven nights no less, and Im not sure where to even start. I stay in Hilton properties for weeks at a time as a business traveler, and although the room rate was great, it looks like Ive made a mistake. Im not overly sensitive or squeamish about hotel rooms because I live in them. But this king suite on the sixth floor was just dirty. Food crumbs on the couch and ottoman, greasy fingerprints on both remotes and both nightstands... I fished out the hand wipes from my briefcase and wiped down every piece of furniture. The in room coffee pot (yes, I use them) doesnt work, and it was grungy to boot. Now its 12:30 am, and there are children running and screaming on the 7th floor above me (I thought I booked the top floor when I picked my room in the app, but apparently it was full already?) and fourth floor below me. Since its an atrium setup, the noise is reverberating through the property. Even though Im diamond with Hilton and very loyal to their properties, when I return here for another week of business in January, Im booking a nearby Residence Inn for the same rate. Thats my night one rant, which unfortunately Im still awake to post.

Weve been staying here twice a years for the past few years and decided that this will be our last stay. The quality of people staying there has gone downhill so we were uncomfortable using the pool and spa. There was no less then 30 people yelling and screaming in the pool and spa. While in the spa 10 other teenagers piled in with her splashing and yelling forcing her out. The staff was superb and courteous as always. I guess this is happening because their price has dropped. Buffet breakfast was also great as always. Room wasnt as clean as it used to be. Leftovers from TGI Fridays found in fridge. AC unit was in ceiling above bathroom and was super LOUD. On a side note the Omaha Steak restaurant is where we usually eat. Their food is WAY overpriced and their desserts have gotten MUCH smaller. The waiting staff has gotten snooty and acts like they are fine dining. The steaks themselves were good and deserts were good but half chicken entree was not. It wasnt dry but not moist and was essentially grilled and slapped on a plate. The veggies were steamed and unseasoned and they no longer substitute anything. Broccoli MUST be purchased a-la-cart for $4.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever encountered in any hotel. I was there just for a weekend. When checking in the front desk lady was very rude and customer service was awful it was as if she did not want to be there. Once in the room there was a spot on my bed (that looked like dry blood) I told the front desk no one came to change it for hours than it was never changed it was left on the bed and they came and put the sheets on the bed didnt even change it. The next day i went to take my kids ot the pool and there is construction inside the pool area around the jacuzzi which is very dangerous the whole pool should have been closed. On top of that pool water is suppose to be clear blue not a cloudy green. Everything to top this I am an employee with hilton and I am very bothered and upset that this hotel carries themselves this type of way. The manager should be ashamed of herself. I would refer this hotel to no one. Only thing that was good out of this was all you can drink cocktails that was it.
