I have been a diamond member for about 7 years and live in a city with another Caesars property. I am not satisfied with the comps or the property itself so I decided to drive the extra hour to the Horseshoe Cincinnati. The casino is very modern, has 100,000 square feet of gaming which is a very large casino floor. The casino itself reminds me of the Harrahs New Orleans property. Ive been two times and on each occasion the staff was friendly, helped with anything I needed. I will say the second trip I tried to get a comp and was denied which turned out to be a mistake. I was driving home and got a phone call from a casino host "Beth". She apologized for the inconvenience and I spoke with her a few minutes and I was happy with her taking the time to call. The following day Beth called me and offered me Opening Day tickets to the Reds game. This is going above and beyond in my opinion. Everyone who gambles wants to enjoy themselves, have a chance to win and feel like the casino values their money and them in general. This certainly showed me that the Horseshoe Cincinnati values you whether you are a gold card holder up to a Seven Stars. They have earned my future business. The food was really good, Bobbys Burger Palace was fairly priced and the burger was cooked great and had a great taste. The Buffet has something for everyones tastes and everything was fresh and hot. The casino as stated is huge, people concerned about the $15 minimums this will certainly be lowered in time. There is every kind of table game and slot or video poker you can imagine. Drinks are not free as this is a City Ordinance, but a $4 beer is typical for a casino and is not outrageous by any means. Over you should definitely head to Horseshoe Cincinnati.

Worst venue for a show I have ever seen. We went to Jeff Dunham, the show itself was good...I think... so no offense to the comedian, but we could not HEAR or SEE the show as the venue is terrible. We spent over $200.00 for tickets and like many, many, many, many in the audience thought we were getting an actual seat. Instead we were herded like cattle by staff to grass. Even though our ticket said area A, seat 22.....Now picture it.... people were dressed up, some ladies in dresses, other parties had parents or grandparents in the 80 and 90s that were to sit/stand on the grass. Horseshoe obviously needs a lesson in "truth in advertising." I would get it if we were the only ones who didnt realize this was on a flat lawn, (not even on a graded hill like Riverbend so you can actually SEE.) But hundreds of people were flat out disappointed and angry that their hard earned money went to an outdoor performance on the front lawn of Horseshoe. The convicts at the justice center had a better view than we did! This was to be a graduation gift for one of my nephews from my sister.....he was very disappointed, and by the way he is 6 foot 2 and could not see either. Very disappointing and very much a fault of Horseshoe for not advertising the venue appropriately. We even had our tickets checked twice....the woman said, "yeah, everybody is complaining...." About 50 of us in the area around me plan on posting to every media site we know.....Learn from us and save your money!!

Terrible service. I am a Diamond member and travel to Vegas a lot and I always get great service. This place is an embarrassment to the brand. I went to the Diamond counter for service. Remember this is supposed to be the VIP center. The woman at the desk was texting on her cell phone and help up her finger for me to wait. This continued for 3 minutes. While there I noticed there was a reception for Diamond members. I stopped by and asked if I could attend. I was told I had to receive an invitation in the mail. I pointed out I was a Diamond member in from out of town and offered to show them my card. I was informed I was not diamond "At their location". Gosh, I thought this was a system wide program. This is like flying on Delta out of Dallas and being told I am only a frequent flyer when I fly out of Atlanta. What? Went to Jack Binions for dinner. The food was terrible. The cheesecake was dry and tasted like paste. I paid with my points. The woman did not ask for my ID. I pointed out they are supposed to do that because I could have left my card in a machine on accident and anyone could have used my credits worth several hundred dollars. She said they dont do that here. Wow. Caesers you need to fix this place. It is a joke to people that know how you normally treat guests.

Today my family and I went to Horseshoe to eat at the Spread Buffet. We got to the entrance to the casino and the 2 guys at the door turned us away because I had my 19 month old son with with me. The reason was that as of Sept. 30 they have put a rule into effect that if you are not 21 you can not enter the place. They did say that if we wanted to eat at Margaritaville that we could go back out and around the outside of the building and enter there from the street. First thing to get straight is I wasnt there to eat a burger and on top of that I dont care anything about the gambling and I dont thing my son was going to play poker or craps. I have been to the Spread before with my young son and would continue to return.I think what they need to do is build a wall between the gambling and the restaurants with a walk way behind it so people that have no interest in gambling they can still go pay the over price for the restaurant if they want to eat. I also think they should have something posted on website letting people know that the only place you can eat there as of right now with kids is Margaritaville. This would have been a nice thing for me so I wouldnt have drove a hour and a half to eat the Spread.

A group of friends from another country came over for a visit. They flew to Miami first, where we all spent a great weekend and returned to Cincinnati to show them our hometown. When we arrived at the casino, lady at the ID checkpoint would not accept my friends passports as a valid form of ID. She had to call the manager, a very rude aggressive older gentleman who spent 15 minutes if not longer verifying their identities, checking visas and generally treating our group (well dressed and sober group of Euro Union citizens!) as suspicious terrorists. During the whole commotion we just stood there, nearly blocking the passageway, watched the receptionist granting entrance to a number of people without even checking their IDs and various employees just gathering to enjoy the show. As a hospitality specialist with over 10 years of experience, I can say it is hard to find such combination of poor professional attitude and aggression of personnel along with bad smell of burning rubber in the main hall. As I informed the supervisor it was our first and last visit to the facility, his response was - "thats fine with us, dont come back!" Way to go,HR department, way to go...
