Were from Orlando where we do escape rooms frequently. Weve seen all sorts of different puzzles and atmospheres in the rooms weve been to, and were very impressed with Amaze Room Escapes. There isnt a sign outside so its not easily noticeable, and not a lot going on in the lobby (aside from a large chalkboard for guests to write on before they leave), but the inside of the rooms were much more immersive than I anticipated. We had booked "The Mysterious Room," the harder of their two available experiences. The puzzles were innovative and different than anything wed seen before. The way that everything functioned and moved was very impressive and the aesthetic was pretty good (definitely the best Ive seen of the 3 escape rooms Ive done in NC). Our group was the only one of the day to make it out, and we were so pleased with the experience that we went right back and did the other room that night! They had let us know it was easier, and it was. But we were again impressed with how unique some of the challenges were, and that made getting out so quickly worth it. I think it may be great for them to gather specific feedback from the people leaving, especially those who have done escape rooms before. Since theyre aware of one room being easy, nothing wrong with making some changes to make it a little more challenging! Overall, for a brand new escape company only opened a month, I was dazzled by the overall quality. These guys have some very innovative ideas, and the staff was incredibly friendly and professional, selling the theme on both rooms. I look forward to more great rooms next time we visit!!

My three friends and I went to amaze room escapes after we saw the good reviews for this place. After the play, I knew that it deserves its good reputation. stuff introduced the two options there: Prison break and Mysterious room. I found the story of mysterious room very interesting so that we did this one. The stuff gave us safety instructions and an intercom telephone so that we can ask for help if needed. We had an hour to escape the room. I wont spoil the content inside the room, but why I can tell is that the room is amazing, full of super good puzzles, appropriate clues and challenging tricks! We enjoyed the whole process very much and did escape in time. What I remember vividly was that we were stuck on the first puzzle for like 10 minutes. The stuff asked if we need any hints after seeing our situation from the video camera. I thought this design was very thoughtful and warm, and it definitely helped keep customers safe inside the room. After we got out, all of us were so excited and happy as if we were really just escaped from a extremely dangerous place. The experience was intense and great! The stuff told me they would update new theme each 6 months, and I just cant wait to play more escapes there!

I always love room escapes and have done many times in different places. I have to admit, this is the best room escape experience I ever had! !!! We four friends decided to do this one because its excellent environment and decorations. The stuff there were super friendly, and introduced the two options available there. We did the harder one because we wanted some challenge. We were given one hour to escape after the stuff made detailed introductions about background story and safety instructions. Inside the escape room, it is well decorated, with a lot of fine furnitures, light and music. The puzzles were so well designed that I think they were better than any other ones I had before in other places. It took us over 50 minutes to get out of the room, with the help of one clue from the stuff. The difficulty level satisfied us all. I would love to group a few friends again to try their the other room escape. I believe it will be as good as the one we tried. Looking forward to go back to play again!

The room was set up nice and clever puzzles but, the introduction was a little rocky from staff, Read right off paper also you have to go in order and not enough for everyone to do. Our group consisted of 6 people 4 of which have done a lot of rooms. Very disappointed on how the communication of hints were giving, with people entering the room each time and asking where we were in the puzzle, lost the feel of you are "locked" in. Also one of the hints used was almost something you needed to complete the puzzle so dont think it was quite fair to use as one of the two hints. Also with a timer not present at first was kind of of aggerviating. Dont know if one of the employees was training or what but very unsure of himself. I would not recommend this to anyone looking to try an escape room in the raleigh, there are more authentic choices in the area.

My group and I escaped the Prison Break room (have done 30+ rooms) Pro: - Good puzzles, there is a good mix in there. - Room is decently sized - Would come back again and try the other room - Very friendly and helpful staff Cons: -Felt the space was a little empty (not enough props) -It was a good size for smaller groups, but if you have more than 5 people, you might run out of puzzles to do. We did it with 2. Overall, a pleasant experience. Required a good amount of thinking, and definitely entertaining enough for me to try out the other room!

Went today (July 4th) and had an amazing time with my family and girlfriend, the employee who gave our orientation was very helpful and friendly and the escape itself was full of challenging and rewarding clues to find and puzzles to solve. We did the Prison Break room and the room itself was very creative in the way it was set up, yet it felt a little empty which is understandable given it being the easier option of the 2. Overall had a great experience and will definitely be coming back to try the harder option!

We had a fabulous experience from beginning to end. Sent a request on website for a private event; response was less than 30 minutes. Had date, time, and price set with no issue. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful both on the phone and at venue. Had four adults and six kids over ten and we had a blast. Everyone helped and we needed it for some new features! Escaped with less than three minutes to spare! Serious fun! Highly recommend!

My friends and I have heard about "escape rooms" before, so we wanted to try out this new venue. It was definitely worth it! We had a blast solving all the puzzles; in fact, we probably would not have been able to solve all of them without the help of the friendly staff. Amaze Room Escapes is great for group bonding, and for a refreshing new experience unlike any other!

We went with a group of 4 to the Prison Break as a test drive before the grand opening... It was AWESOME!!! Theyre secretive about the rooms and props for a reason and its the perfect idea!!! You dont know what youre walking into so the puzzles can truly stump you!!! Im so, very, impressed and I cant wait to go back and explore the next room!!!

Very fun, very helpful staff, the puzzles are high quality! Definitely worth coming in and checking it out. The staff is most concerned with making sure everyone has a good time, and were willing to help us when we looked like we were too confused. Overall, this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to others.
