In 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me and a partner played 18 holes on yesterday and initially our round was going well up until we reached the 16th hole and were exposed to anything other than a gentleman experience. After teeing off my partners ball was farthest away so while waiting for the group in front of us to depart off the green so we could hit our second and third shots my partner hit an errant shot which went right of the green and he then yelled "4" immediately after to let the group know the ball was coming there way. Shortly after we were yelled at "f yall" loudly on the course by one of the guys in the group ahead of us. The outburst was flat out rude and disrespectful. I was so outraged by this outburst and could not believe what I had just listened to coming from a fellow golfer as errant shots happen sometimes on the course. We got on our cart to go over and ask the guy what was his problem and why the need to yell curse words at us he approached our cart with a driver in his hand and said "if that ball would have hit me we would have a problem". My partner told the guy it was unintentional and out of respect "4" was yelled and he was also apologizing to the guy although the ball didnt touch him.That was not enough for him he continued to go on a tangent and then said to us "you black people". My mouth dropped in disbelief and as you can imagine our round of golf was over at that point. Upon going to the clubhouse the manager gave us a rain check and went and talked to the guy. Although I dont blame the management to have to deal with racism and idiots like this when playing golf is flat out ridiculous. To add insult to injury both me and my partner are paying members of Ratcliffe Golf Services and will not renew because of this. What a horrible experience

First, let me put this in perspective because there is a course out there for all skill levels. I am an 11 handicap and this course is mediocre at best. I played by myself so went played through 4 groups, then behind another for the rest of the day. All other players I saw were clearly just beginner level golfers. Thats perfectly fine. What I have a problem with is the $32 twilight fee I paid. I played 2 days ago at Tego Cay for $33. Not even close in comparison. Tego Cay was a fantastic, challenging course. No way should Sunset Hills get $33. If youre just learning and willing to spend that much, then by all means go ahead. But anyone thats an average experienced golfer, theres far better place to spend your $.

Im a beginner and have played a few other courses locally. I played Sunset Hills Golf Course today and liked it so much that Im going back on Friday.. Greens were the best Ive seen since Ive started playing golf, the price is right, and course is perfect for someone just getting started like myself. I highly recommend.

We played foot golf here the other day...we had fun...it was a nice course for being a 9 hole foot golf....the cups shld be lower than the grass and proper drainage...but over all it was fun...ill definitely be back...since its the only foot golf course in the area...

Managers note: April, 2011 Greens are back Fairways are in better shape Customers report looking better Sunset Hills will never be Augusta but is still a great deal for the price

Do not, I repeat, do not waste your time or money. This course should only be used if you have a child that needs to start somewhere.

I suck at tenis but this field is still very good for beginners and people who are looking to go try out for the NFL!

This Charlotte city course was in good shape even in January and was reasonably priced.
