This establishment is exceptionally terrible. One star is giving it too much credit, as it implies that it at least offers some value, or at the very least did no harm. My experience in this establishment took something away from me. It actually emotionally scarred me, in some ways. This bowling alley deserves a negative one star. Let me explain what happened. I was with a group of other young adults, bowling at one of the lanes. The ball got stuck on the lane twice. I do not know if this was a result of a sincere mistake or excessive horsing around, but either way the response by the staff was completely unacceptable. One of the employees came up and told us to take our shoes and leave in a hostile and rude manner. He was kicking us out. Politely asking us to leave would have been acceptable; I understand that a company has to protect its assets, and as far as they knew, my group could not be trusted. But this employee was particularly hostile. He went out of his way to be hurtful. When one of the people in my group smirked in a effort to try to make light of this unsavory situation, this employee aggressively stated that he wouldnt be laughing if he had to pay for broken equipment. This was absolutely unwarranted. He had already accomplished his task in removing us, why add this remark with the deliberate intention to do emotional harm? My guess is either this employee just has a foul temper or that he has a general disdain for young adult males. Either way, a person like this has no place in the service industry. I previously thought that in a commercial environment it was only the customer that is sometimes needlessly rude to the employee, as employees are expected to always treat paying customers with respect. But this wretched place proved me wrong. No form of interaction is safe from human evil, not even that of the customer-employee relationship. This establishment not only forced me to part with my money after terrible service. It made me lose faith in human decency. Im not saying that Ill never expect kindness to ever happen again in a commercial environment. But I am saying that I will never feel entirely comfortable in a commercial environment again, for the fear that some employee will verbally attack me with unnecessary insults will always linger. That being said, Buffaloe Lanes is without a doubt the worst commercial establishment I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. No other company I have ever visited has ever scarred me in the way this place has. If you are a parent with cute kids, you and your kids may be able to visit this bowling alley and leave unscathed. After all, it is "family-focused". But if you are a young adult or teenager looking to have some fun with friends, this is definitely not the place for you.

Terrible. I tried to use a local flavor voucher and was denied because of some other promotion going on. I am aware of these types of things but i came specifically to use the voucher. The voucher usually indicates time restrictions, this voucher had no restrictions on it and i was still refused. This is false advertisement. I came a great deal to use this voucher only to find out that they wont take it and force me to oay more money. When i asked for a manager there was none. This is false advertisement. You as a company do business with local flavor to advertise for you. It is your responsibility to list restrictions on the listing. You shouldnt advertise to your customers a certain thing and say something else when they go through a great deal to get there and come there as a result of the advertisement. Its just as if you say come her for this and when I get there you say oh we arent doing that right now. How does that work

Id say normally this place is a fun and awesome bowling center for kids of all ages, however after tonights experience.... Id say this place has lost touch with its older customer base. Unlimited bowling on a Friday night after a winter storm shouldnt be the game plan for a business like this. My wife and I came in, tried to get a lane and were told, "Every one here is playing unlimited bowling and we can put you on a list but cant promise anything." I rarely post reviews and when I do they are usually good ones, however after the nonchalant, "I dont care" attitude we were shown, I had to post this. I hope you guys come back around and make this right.

We take our son every couple of weeks and always have a great time. Just one complaint... they need a better ball selection, specifically with respect to hole size. Ive bowled other places where I can find balls down to an 11 or 12 with holes large enough for my fingers (which are not overly large), but here Im hard pressed to find one smaller than a 16 that has holes (and hole pattern) that fits. Other than that, its great. They have an arcade where you can spend your time (and money) waiting for your lane -- oh yeah, the place is always packed on the weekends.

An excellent place to go bowling with family & friends! This place is clean, smoke free with friendly staff. What makes this place better than most in the area is the fact that theyre quite efficient in managing the lanes. Theyre able to proactively monitor lanes, queue up groups whore waiting to play and most importantly they listen & rectify any concerns or issues.

Good place to bowl. Nice service, especially because they sold socks whenever two people in our family bowling forgot them. However, there is one small complaint I need to say: The scoreboards are sometimes inaccurate. I just notice it. Besides the place having a lot of people on Saturday/Sunday, I think it is a pretty nice bowling alley, quite clean.

Nice place to go bowling. Came here with a friend back in April 2007. Come here about once every 4 years but have a great time each time I come. Need to throw my 34th birthday party here. It has been 25 years since my 9th birthday party a bowling alley back in Pittsburgh, PA. Brings back memories of my childhood and college days when I go bowling.

Great place for bowling. They have bumpers that can be raised per bowler, as needed. Shoes are decent and if you forget socks you can purchase them there. The arcade has skeeball and air hockey (the two best games, imo!). Check Groupon for a great deal on this place. Will definitely return!

Recently management handled a very difficult situation with one of the leagues, highly respectful and professional to all involved or affected. Definitely will continue to bowl here knowing that management handles situations in such a classy and accommodating manner.

This is a great place to bring the whole family. Lots of lanes (and even adults can turn on bumpers) Lots of different choices for bowling balls if you dont own one. It has food, pro-shop and a little arcade that the kids can win tickets for trade in for prizes.

Our experience at Buffalo Lanes Cary was a total disaster. One hour into our hour and a half game one of the three lanes that we paid for broke, it throw off everyone in our party. We were unfairly compensated and ended the night with a overly priced bill.
