I come to this bowling alley like 3/4 nights a week, and I ONLY HAVE ONE COMPLAINT. We went last night for college night. We always go on nights where they have specials because of course we want to bowl for as cheap as possible. On Wednesdays they advertise $2 PBR beers. Its the tall boy 16 ounce cans. The special runs from 9pm until midnight. We order two beers and start bowling. Its 10pm and we try to order two more beers and they say they are OUT. We were shocked since its only an hour into the special. The bartender tells us hes only sold 5 beers, 3 of which were to us!! A few days prior when we were there, the PBR tap had run out too. We ask the manager if they could give us draft PBR instead for the special price and he said no "they cant substitute liquor". My boyfriend clarified we wanted beer, the same kind of beer, just out of the tap since they were out of cans. He said alcohol laws prevented the substitution. This isnt a law Ive heard of before. I love this alley; we are definitely regulars there. Since this is the second time theyve run out of something, I would just ask that the manager makes sure they do better about ordering what is needed FOR THE SPECIALS. You go somewhere for a special, and then they dont have the product and cant provide any substitution. Its just frustrating. Other than that though, I love this bowling alley. Most of the staff is friendly. Weve been there enough times now they are always pleasant with us. Lanes are usually waxed. The atmosphere is fun with music videos playing on projectors and all the lights are always out.

My friends and I were looking for something different to do on New Years and we had heard about their special (bowling, shoes, pizza and soda, noise makers/hats and a champagne toast for $24.99/pp). We decided to give it a try. It obviously isnt a popular special because the staff werent even sure what we were there for when we arrived. Soda turned out to be an unlimited supply of one kind of soda (not ideal for a group!). There were no noise makers or hats and the champagne toast (which they crossed out AFTER we arrived) was warm sparkling grape juice. They also changed to flyer AFTER we got there to having it ending at 1am instead of 2am. Also, it wasnt even festive -- the blacklights werent on and we had to cluster around the TV in the bar area to do our own countdown. It was a big disappointment and the staff showed absolutely zero interest in trying to make it better. There was no manager there and when I called back later to speak with a manager the staff were very unhelpful and no manager ever got back to me. I certainly wont be doing that again!

Went there a few years back, wasnt that crazy about the place. Recently have been going almost everyday. Looks like they did some renovations and it is really nice!! Staff is very friendly!! Summer league pass unlimited bowling is a fantastic deal!! Much better than the other Chapel Hill option (Mardi Gras) that does not serve alcohol. Very family friendly, play legit music with music videos as you bowl or put on sports games for you to watch at the end of the lanes. Check it out!! I promise you will NOT go only once.

Standard local bowling alley. I feel like it has malfunctions a fair amount. At least once every game I bowl. Also the bathrooms are a travesty. Smell bad and look bad. The ATM was out of service last time I went as well. I also wish they would change up their music video Playlist. Its the same every Monday during my league play. Brutal. That said, they have cheap beer and plenty of lanes typically. In terms of a bowling experience it delivers what I need, nothing more.

Giving one star only because I have to. Be warned, because I wish I had been: the massive screens at the ends of the lanes played sexually explicit music videos the entire time I was there (I made the mistake of going on a Friday night). I know a lot of people dont mind it, but I generally avoid pornographic videos like that. I would never feel okay about bringing kids here and I wont be going back.

We attended on a Saturday right at noon. The place was not too busy. Only thing is that the functions on the game board dont work properly so we waited a long time for food to come, which preparations began once we verbally left our lane to tell someone. It did not arrive until we were done playing. Everything else about the game was great, including all other customer service.

Got the "new years" package. The buffet was terrible, didnt have all the food listed, was constantly out of what they did have (ONE plate of chicken tenders that ran out immediately & some pretty weak pizza), the drinks were flat and they wouldnt give me a refill at the bar when the pitchers at the buffet table ran out (which was every time I turned around.)

I visit this bowling alley because its the most affordable place around. Beyond that, it is pretty mediocre. The ball returns and pinsetters frequently malfunction, the computer often need fixing, the lanes are oiled very inconsistently, and the availability of shoe sizes is unpredictable.

Nice place to bowl a couple games. Prices are fair food is good, staff is friendly. Only reason not 5 stars, I couldnt break a 5$ bill. Change machine was empty, food counter sent me to the front desk and front desk only had a dollar. No a big deal but still weird.

Dont buy Groupons for this place. My Groupon went to waste because I came twice to this place on Sat/Sun, and each time some tournament was going on. So I couldnt redeem the Groupon in time, and it expired. And they wont extend the deadline.

Wonderful bowling alley. Great house balls and great atmosphere. To those college students: they have a GREAT deal Thursday nights 9-12. Unlimited bowling for about $5/person. It is not advertised online so dont expect to find it there.

Bowling alleys always remind me of the 80s, and this place is no exception. You can throw as many gimmicks at bowling alleys as you want, but they always feel 40 years old. This is a decent place to bowl, though, if you like bowling.

I was very impressed. For an AMF, it is quite nice. The computers are easy to use, the pin resetting never messed up for us, and staff were on top of things. The food is nothing out of the ordinary, but youre there for the bowling.

Clean and attentive staff. Took 3 kids under the age of 5 for a few games and they didnt end up in the ER so going to call that a success. They have ramps available for kids that cant lift up their 6 lb balls.

Instead of spending a bunch of money on the unnecessary projector screen that spans all the lanes and the 13 projectors they could of spent the money on the machines that constantly break.

Alley has been completely redone, now has nice couches, everything looks beautiful, and the staff is very well trained. Definitely the best bowling alley in the area.
