A fun place for all ages, we all had an amazing time. The Vortex room is unexplainable, we couldnt belive our eyes, a ball that actually goes UP the wall !!!!!!! The museums were very interesting we learned alot about Native Americans and the way the Appalichian people lived back in the early 1900s and it was decorated beautiflly for Christmas. The fee was a small price to pay for what was included, the admission to Mystery Hill and both museums. The staff is Wonderful and makes everyone feel at home. We will be back again soon, Thank You for such an unforgetable, exciting time.

You feel a strong gravitational pull in the room (vortex) and quite honestly it will make you feel a bit queezy. We tried to pass this place off as an optical illusion but when we got home we looked through our photos and though most were normal there was one that was not. I did not use any tool to produce this strange image and could not duplicate it when I tried. It is 100% accurate and there is no explanation. I promise on my mothers grave and on the Holy Bible.

I remember seeing this on an episode of the 80s Jack Palance edition of Ripleys Believe it or Not. Although, while I think it was at another location, the concept was the same. Little did I know that there are multiple vortex/gravitational mystery things scattered all over the U.S. So should you prepare to be amazed? Definitely. This nine-buck roadside attraction lives up to mystery and is a unique experience you wont find, pretty much, elsewhere.

We had so much fun here. We went as an excursion with some of our work team and really enjoyed hearing about the history of the location, trying to figure out the riddles scattered throughout the property, playing in the gravity room, and checking out the crazy large arrowhead collection. It made me want to go out and look for some arrowheads! A great experience both for kids and the kids at heart.

We went to see this little place (reffered by a friend) and our kids loved it! Our kids were 3 and 7 when we first went and are begging to go back again this year at age 11 and 15! The Falling room as they call it, makes the whole thing worth it. Its just a little science museum thing but Its been a favorite place in our families heart for years. -Michelle Weaver Ft Myers, Florida

This is one of my favorite places. The tour was guided. I dont really care to see all of the arrowheads in the other building, but I do like the upstairs of that building where you can see some old timey stuff from an old guy that had something to do with App State

So glad we made it a point to stop! The staff was very personable and informative. Mystery Hill will be a definite stop when my niece & nephew visit over the summers. Even my cousin, who just had her knee replaced, wants to return. Thank you for such a great time!!

In one sense, not a lot to do, but its extremely fun. My kids (teens) still love it. The oldest said it was funner than she remembered. There is of course the tilted room, but also other rooms with optical illusions and at the end lots of bubbles to be made.

Very nice and entertaining place. Though if you get dizzy easy be sure to not stay in the vortex long, a day later I still have a mind headache from it. The native American museum next door was my personal favorite. I would highly recommend a visit

Absolutely delightful place to spend time with the family! We were fortunate enough to visit during the school week, so we had the place to ourselves. The staff were kind and attentive, and the prices are reasonable, if you make an afternoon of it.

Friendly staff, but not worth the money overall. Mystery Hill "exhibits" were poor. Appalachian Heritage and Native American Museum exhibits, which are included with Mystery Hill admission, were also poor. Very disappointed overall.

I visited over the week-end. It was strange and very fun. I got sick when I came out :/ Kids would love it. It is a little over priced but a good time. The staff are great! So friendly and made us feel so welcome.

This place is worth the visit...especially if you have kids. We visit every year when we go to Boone and our kids love taking the tour and exploring mind-bending wackiness. The old-time photos are also a hit.

Superb attraction in the high country of North Carolina. On par or better than Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, and Appalachian Ski Mtn. A true geographical oddity. Very friendly staff and great owners!

While I liked it, dont put your expectations very high. The stop will not take you long. The price was not too expensive. The phenomena were neat and the staff were nice. Take the time to ask questions.

Super fun and although its easy to figure out whats going on - it still messes with your mind. A bit expensive. Forego the tour guide and just head straight to the shack.

Tourist trap. But a fun tourist trap. Price is good. If you want to get an old western photo taken, the price here is great compared to other places Ive tried.
