This place is like the awesome basement everyone dreams of having. Super family friendly with great music, board games and an awesome staff. The sound system is better than most clubs and they host a variety of music styles and shows from open mic nights to hip hop to EDM nights to singer/songwriter and more. There is plenty of comfy seating with the couches and books on the walls which can be read or purchased. The venue is attached to the downtown market, another awesome establishment, and you can actually shop with a tasty cold adult beverage in hand. Dont listen to negative reviews. This place is safe and inviting for all types and once you stop by and hang for a minute youll see why.

The place is charming and the drinks are cheap but they seem to close on a whim, without any warning. Ive walked all the way down there numerous times just to be met with an inexplicably closed bar. I highly recommend calling ahead of time to make sure theyre open. The free-to-play NES is pretty great, but the books are over priced.
