This was my first experience with open mic at this place and I gave it three stars because the comedy was actually pretty good. What I did not like was the host, Tom, who thought it would be funny to humiliate me in front of the audience because I was interacting with the comedians by telling me to stop talking. Then he proceeds to obnoxiously tell everyone that I ruint his night when I told him it was my first time observing stand up in Asheville. When I tried to confront him about his rudeness he walked away from me which was very unprofessional. I would recommend this place to my friends as long as Tom is not hosting.

talk about tons of character in this place! I love the variety of events they have there, and the ambiance is perfectly quirky. The staff was all super friendly and the spiked homemade watermelon lemonade was amaaazing! If youre looking for those cool, relaxing vibes that contribute to what make Asheville so unique, this is the place to go sit down and have some good conversations!

Favorite neighborhood dive bar with live punk rock and metal shows almost every night. Cheap drinks, friendly staff, its great. The bar is split between lounge on one side and band room on the other, with the bar in the center. They get some really good up and coming bands here. But take your earplugs if you are going to be in the band room.

Awesome place to chill ~ Amys awesome too ~ Thanks to Adam , bartender supreme. Great little secret of a place where you can get to see some superb entertainment. Saw SONNY VINCENT play there in Sept. ~ you cant get better than that. Make a trip there, say hi from Coach !!!!!!

If you like most music in the world, but are confused why everyone doesnt just make it louder and faster all the time, come to the Odditorium. Also, if youre lucky enough to catch one of their Saturday yard sales, do all your Christmas shopping.

This place is great again. Its what used to be The Get Down, before Mikki and Sam Fox ran it into the ground. Its got a new look and a great feel. The new owners have done a great job with it!

I have loved this odd little bar since the moment I drove by the first time! It has a variety of live music, djs, shows, etc. The bartenders are the best (try their mojito, it is superb!)

Good drinks and food, but if youre a band playing there their entrances are impossible. Drummer and vocals obviously get microphones, but other instruments are left to rely on amps alone.
