UNDERSTAFFED. We left early to give us time to get tickets and popcorn, but apparently we didnt leave early enough. On Sunday I took my children to see the Jungle Book. First, we had to wait in a very long line as there was one ONE person in the box office. Even more infuriating was how was wasting time to explaining the Regal card to people. NOTE TO BOX OFFICE STAFF: When you have 40 people waiting in line, just take their money, hand them the tickets, and let them move along. Then, there was the line for the popcorn and soda. Again, it was understaffed. Three cashiers was not enough. They were polite, but they were overworked. I missed the first 10 minutes of the movie waiting in line. There was a guy in a gray suit and a very bad haircut. He was puttering around but doing nothing to help. I think he was maybe the manager. Yes, I am being judgemental because when you are the manager you should look professional, and not like some neo-beatnik on his way home from a rave. Manager guy came out from the back, dumped some popcorn into a bin, and then left. He SHOULD have helped the cashiers get drinks and popcorn. He SHOULD have done something to help move the lines along. But, maybe he had an appointment with his hair stylist. My grandfather ran theaters, and when things got busy he was never to high and mighty to get behind the counter and help out. Ill probably go to Stone Theater on Cary Parkway in the future.

I checked online for a movie time. When I got there, I bought a ticket, popcorn and drink(21.00+). As I headed toward the theatre I noticed the time was an hour later.. The manager (kevin) told me I had checked times posted on Sunday. I told him it was online, and I had no way of knowing when it was posted. He went on to say that times always change on Monday. He offered my ticket price returned. I accepted. He offered NO apology. He did mention a free pass, but that did not happen. He asked if I wanted a refund on my popcorn and drink, I said yes. He then went to ask "chris" ....( I guess the food manager). As I was snacking on popcorn while I waited... he came back and stated that he would return my money, but he would have to throw away the popcorn and drink. He took it from me and returned my money. The whole thing was amazingly awkward. I had to basically ask for customer service. I was out the time, gas, and left without something to do. I had gone to a movie to get away for a couple of hours. My family was busy, and I was really looking forward to it. I ended up only getting the money I had just spent. They offered no apologies or passes or anything. I shant be going back....ever again. The fact that a medium popcorn is 7.00 is reason enough, but the treatment was deplorable.

I was here today to watch Planes. The place was very clean. Like most all cinemas these days, the food has an incredible markup, but they have to make money somehow. I purchased popcorn and it took a few minutes to hunt down the butter as only 1 of the 4 butter dispensers worked. The last time I was here with my kids to see "Wreck-It Ralph" we arrived an hour early and bought tickets, went shopping and came back 15 minutes before the show started to find out that there were zero seats to sit in because they had sold more tickets than seats. It was very busy and I understand mistakes happen, although the employees processed a refund like it was a standard routine; if you are going during a holiday or to see a popular movie, go early. Todays experience was much better and overall it is usually a decent place to catch a movie.

I like going to this theater because its so convenient, however for the second time now (in almost 4 years) Ive had a questionable experience. Im not sure if its my movie choice or something else, but the first time was when I went to see a movie with a mostly black cast I was asked if my purse could be searched. Last night I went to see another "black film" and was asked for identification. I asked this young lady why I was being carded and she said it was "protocol", yet as I stood there with another couple that was behind me in line, she didnt ask anyone else for identification. Whats the protocol? I was with my teenage daughter and we were both very perplexed by this. I could understand if the person selling me the ticket was the one to ask, but why after Ive purchased it would I be asked for my identification?

Everytime I come here the place is a complete mess, especially the outside. This afternoon when we pulled up, the front of the building and street had a ton of garbage everywhere. It was blowing in the street/parking lot all from the overflow of the garbage cans. This is like this EVERYTIME I come here, no matter what time of day. The concession area is also a complete mess. Popcorn all over the floor and the counter. I actually slipped on some popcorn and almost fell on my back trying to get to the counter. This is on a Monday at 1:30. I am convinced some of this mess is from the night before. From now on I will go somewhere else. To the management, please consider putting more effort into making the cleanliness of the exterior/interior a priority. This is more than a common occurrence.

Like any other movie theater really. Stadium seating, cleaner than most, prices are the same when compared to others. Not sure what all the hate is in the posts below...all theaters have migrated to an advertisement barrage when showing previews, Beaver creek is no different. The appeal is that its a great theater at a great local. Downside: they need to get with the times and make it more convenient for digital ticket buyers. They advertise the ability to accept digital tickets and they do, however their idea is the ticket guy taking a picture of my phone with his phone. Add IMax and better digital support and this is a 5 star place.

Me and my (cousin both of us are almost 19) wanted to watch the dictator today. However they gave us the wrong tickets, we tried to tell the people that take the tickets of our situation they let us through only to be tracked by a manager and then stopped at the door by the head manager and a police officer who accused us of having fake IDs (they were real), after getting our tickets changed we were stopped again to re validate our IDs and our tickets by the manager and the cop the whole thing meant we missed the beginning of our movie and being nearly arrested due to their terrible customer service.

Be prepared to spend a half hour or more watching advertisements & promos before the feature starts. We were seated at about 8 pm for an 8:10 pm showing of "Gravity". The movie did not start until about 8:35 pm. So we were forced to watch 35+ minutes of adverts in order to see a 91 minute movie. If youre thinking that might allow for some time to just chat before the film starts, dont. The promos are too loud to allow for conversation. Well be looking for other theaters to go to.
