We just got married on June 5th, 2010 and had our reception at Dutchess Manor. We are a couple from Manhattan and were looking for a do-able wedding, not too far from the city. We couldnt have asked for a more perfect setting. We reserved the larger ballroom that accommodated 155 of our guests and it was large enough for comfortable dinner and dancing, but with a warm and intimate vibe that we were seeking. The ballroom was recently renovated and the design is so classic, elegant and inviting. I cant say enough about how awesome the food was. SO many of our guests raved on about it being the BEST food theyve ever had at any wedding! Dean provided us with incredible service from the start of our planning over a year ago, and Carlos could not have been more gracious the whole night. The grounds are beautiful and provided us with a fantastic backdrop of the Hudson River for our Bridal party photos during Cocktail hour. We used Tim, the florist that is affiliated with Dutchess, and ALL the flower arrangements were sooo beautiful! We didnt want anything cheesy or dated looking, and the entire venue and all the vendors provided by Dutchess completely exceeded our expectations and did a FANTASTIC job! Everyone is so nice to work with and we HIGHLY recommend Dutchess Manor. Thank you Dutchess Manor and we feel really blessed to have found you all the way from Manhattan!

Best Choice ever! My husband and I married and had our reception there on August 9th. Its affordable, a beautiful location and a beautiful venue run by the most genuine and kind professionals Ive ever met. It is a family run venue and they truly make your event run beautifully! Its not everyones experience to have the owners of the venue work directly with you. They take pride in their family business and it shines! We worked with Dean with almost all aspects of our wedding and he guided us through the huge process of planning! We and our parents and guests were so impressed by this classy yet very warm venue. The wedding was a blast and Dean kept everyone relaxed, and entertained during a small delay we had with an OUTSIDE shuttle service we had hired. Dutchess manor offers a shuttle service and I highly recommend using that service as I am sure it is as organized and efficient as Dutchess Manor is! Our guests LOVED the beautiful view, the beautiful Victorian Ballroom and the food was phenomenal. If you are looking for a venue in the Hudson Valley, this is the venue for you. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception in September 2010 at the Dutchess Manor. It was FANTASTIC!!!! They know how to run an event superbly, smoothly and I cannot say anything but sensational things about the place and everyone there. The food is delicious!! The views are gorgeous and everything was coordinated so well leading up to the event and the day of the wedding. The owners worked with us from the first day we walked in and were there to wish us well at the end of the wedding. The place is classic and fun but not over the top ostentatious. I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat - I wish I could get married all over again because it went so well and was so much fun. Many of our guests also said that it was the best wedding theyve been to. Look no further, The Dutchess Manor is the way to go!!!

We had a spectacular evening of gourmet food, fine spirits and non stop celebration...all the while overlooking the majestic Hudson painted by a wondrous Spring sunset. No details were left undone. Came here for a Wedding over the weekend and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The views of the Hudson River are amazing and the bar and party space is very large. They have an outdoor area as well and can accommodate larger parties.
