The customer service was terrible. You ask them something, and they give an attitude like no tomorrow. Also, the other issue they have is on signage. The signs have unnecessary arrows that shouldnt be pointing at a certain direction if the thing its trying to direct you is right there. The ticket reception had it, the elevator to the bathroom had it...and the worst signage of this whole theatre in general is signage on showtimes. I was watching a certain movie with two having the same exact digital title and, another one on 3D. I only saw the two of the three which was the 3D and digital since no one would expect there being another slot on the same movie type. The big difference to these digital copies were differences on showtimes WITHIN the same day. So not knowing about the other copy with different times I asked the receptionist if there were any earlier showtimes for the movie I was going to watch with my friends, and the receptionist says its on the board. I told him it wasnt, and he kept saying there was until my friend showed me the duplicate title line right above with the different showtimes. He tells me that I may need to get a change in glasses when it had nothing to do with vision but, more on focus points. PLEASE make this board more readable and better organized. How the heck can you watch a movie when you have terrible employees and a terrible showtime board. Either this place closes down for good or they hire new people and renovate the signage. This place can seriously preform better. The only pro that I could mention throughout this slop of a system is that the movie I watched was great and the theater I watched it in was completely empty. Ironic, dont you think...

R. is in the movies this theater is the definition just okay..shocked this is an AMC. its a bit rundown. age shows, but not in a good way. theres the ticket box office (outside) which is SLOW. i dont know why theres only like 4-5 theater in this place and dont most people know what they are going to see beforehand...still there are lines. idiots (im talking about the customers. theres an automated ticket kiosk for purchasing tickets inside, but why theres only one of them--idky--which often has a line in front of it as well. this is likely the worst AMC theater Ive been to...and why they are not renovating it is beyond me. that said, they have reserved seating via box office or kiosk or whatever tickets app. concession is on ground level. most of the theaters are below street level. take the stairs down and theres one escalator that goes back up. the theaters are fairly worn out. the screens and projection are in good shape. but most of the chairs feel like theyve been blown out by 500 lbs theatergoers...with the stretch/sweat marks to prove it. Ugh. lol the staff tries to put a smile on it, but even they know this is a sad sight to behold. for NYC, its a tragedy that full price tickets are being sold to a theater which 10 years past due on a major renovation. the concession is standard. if youre looking for kale chips or popped quinoa, youre outta luck and should jump off a bridge for expecting anything healthful at a theater concession. drops mic, so i can throw greasy popcorn at the two Becky with SuperCuts Hair in front of me.

My friends and l decided to check out a movie on a whim Friday night. Since we were already in the area we went to this location for the first time. While the movie "Annabelle" was great, the process for getting into the theatre was not. Upon entering the theatre we were met with a long line of people waiting to purchase tickets. There was some confusion between how many lines there were and who was doing what. First, let me start by saying that there is only one cashier attendant and one kiosk machine for purchasing tickets at this location, hence the long line. Secondly, the proximity between the cashier, kiosk machine and the other attendant who collects the tickets was too small of a space which made it difficult for those of us waiting on line. Those of us waiting on line to buy tickets had to keep shifting from side to side to make room for people who were using the kiosk or for those who had already purchased tickets in advance and just needed to get through. After waiting on line for awhile a manager finally came out to address the crowd. She apologized for the wait, confusion and expressed how that location is not use to a large number of people. As a customer l find that hard to believe because most businesses do there best dealings on the weekends. If AMC could revamp that entrance area it would make for a better all around movie experience. Thank you,

WORST PLACE EVER, CUSTOMER SERVICE TERRIBLE. I DONT WRITE REVIEWS AT ALL BUT I HAD TO TAKE SOME TIME OUT FOR THIS ONE. WELL I WENT THERE WITH 3 OF MY FRIENDS. WE GOT THERE AT 9:00PM OUR MOVIE DID NOT START TILL 9:30PM SINCE IT WAS HOT OUTSIDE WE DECIDED TO STAY IN THE LOBBY OF THE MOVIE THEATERS AND WAIT A COUPLE OF MINS TILL THEY LET US IN. THE INDIAN GUY IN THE TICKET BOOTH RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE WAS GIVING US ATTITUDE AND TOLD US THAT WE COULDNT STAY IN THE LOBBY THAT WE HAD TO LEAVE AND COME BACK BETWEEN 9:10PM & 9:15PM. SO WE DIDNT WANT TO ARGUE WITH HIM AND WE DECIDED TO LEAVE & COME BACK. SO WE GET BACK AT 9:15ISH AND THEY LET US IN TO OUR MOVIE ROOM AND IT WAS SO HOT IN THERE, HOTTER THAN OUTSIDE AND THE SEATS AND THE ROOM SMELLED AWFUL. I BELIEVE THEY SHOULD OF HAD THE COURTESY OR DECENCY OF AT LEAST TELLING US THAT THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY AIR CONDITIONER INSIDE THE THEATER. SO IM ALREADY PISSED OFF BECAUSE HE TOLD US TO LEAVE, THEN THERE IS NO AC ITS FREAKING HOT, AND THEN WHEN I GO TO GO GET A REFUND THE OTHER GUY AT THE OTHER BOOTH WAS GIVING US WORST ATTITUDE THEN THE FIRST ONE BECAUSE WE REQUESTED A REFUND. FIRST & LAST TIME !!!!!!!! IF I CAN GIVE IT 0 STARS I WOULD.

Went to watch The Hobbit here on Christmas day with family and friends. Right off from the opening trailers we could tell that the screen was out of focus. We were hoping that they would fix it before the feature picture started, but since that didnt happen, my friend went up to the staff to remark that the screen is slightly blurred. He came back but it hadnt changed, so he went back again after 15 minutes or so. Still no change. Finally an hour in, he asked one more time, and when nothing changed, he went and grabbed us some 3D glasses which made it slightly easier on our eyes. The Hobbit being a 3 hour movie, by the end of the film my eyes were strained and I felt slightly sick. On top of that, there was a black blotch on the screen hanging on in the center on the right-third of the screen, a key spot for most close up shots, so there was always this bug-like splotch hovering over Bilbo or Thorins face. Long story short, I think Ill be avoiding this theater from now on.

Certainly an older (more run down, less attentive staff, less regular cleanings, etc.) and more decrepit AMC - it actually has a lot going for it. The theater is on the smaller side - showing on just a few screens, and typically mixing in an indie or two along with a blockbuster. Also, the layout is sloped, but still older, which means the seats are wide and broken in (which I think is comfortable, but you will sink in your seat a little bit), and you will be able to see for the most part, even in the back row. The sound is loud (though probably not as crisp as the newer sound systems) - and the picture adequate (large and clear, but not as fancy with digital clarity and not as large, as the newer higher-end screen format products now being launched). The restrooms were cramped and unclean. Overall though, its location and size make it seem like a quaint indie shop with a pleasant vibe (despite the fact its an AMC).
