So my mother just passed, after many times attending Atlantic city with her and being offered by every casino to join a rewards program but never actually following through. I decided to go with cesars (and mother loved it for its art) and because I only heard great things in regards to there incentives they have to attend there casinos. I come to jersey a lot for work and I am located about 2 hours from the shore. So I decided to spoil myself and with some incoursgement from my friends to just go out for a night because I didnt have work. So I call up to see how much a room cost, calling up I get a very friendly person, so inviting and great I really was just so pleased. She advises me that instead of paying for a night being with the rewards program they were going to comp me a night! I only had to pay fees (and that was verrrry inexpencive) so Im just ecstatic at this point I pack up a overnight bag and I journey to cesars with some friends. We get to the hotel after a 4 hour drive because there was an accident and a realllllly long back up but we got there in one piece none the less. So I go to check in as I received a confirmation through my email, I wait in line as the only girl is working and a few people were checking in, after 3 people check in and 45 mins go by my egarnes had not died as I was still just so excited to get a free night and attend the casino for I have been busting my behind at work and this is well deserved I feel. I get in line show her my confirmation really as bubbly as I could be, and the girl says I just need to see my ID, I am from Massachusetts and they take your old ID and mail you it and give you a temp ID when youre at the DMV. This was the ID I had on me. She says "I cant take this" asked her if she could ask the manager for I have my passport debit credit and my rewards card even a current school ID that hadnt expired. She told me to wait and shed be back. She goes around the corner come right back out and says I cant take this so I said fine let me just use my passport for I was prepared for her not to take the ID, she says she cant take it. They can only take state IDs (which is what I have it just says temporary) so I say thats fine how about you see my friends ID il put it in his name. She tells me this wont work because the reservation is in my name. I said okay well lets forget about the reservation Ive just came on a journey more or less here." How much is any room available?" She says to me and I quote this word for word as il never forget this "we dont have any reservation available, sorry" so at this point I am confused because I was going to be checking in but didnt so how was there no rooms?? So I was still being content and said "can I please talk to a manager?" She responds "I can but itll take 30-45 mins because theyre on the floor and theyre going to tell you the same thing as me" so I said, "is there anything I can do to get a room I am far away its getting late" and at this point all my friends are behind me waiting for me to check in and go to the room and she says to me "sir theres noting I can do accept tell you have a goodnight and help the next customer, thanks for coming in" I have never been so disrespected, defiled and treated like filth then by the girl at the front desk at that hotel. Im going to write this review on every single thread to warn people that if you think that you are going through a tough time in life and a casino is going to make it better because its "fun" it can always get worst.

I stayed at Caesars AC 9/26-30th 2016. I got there at 2:35 pm. The line was not too long about 10 people ahead of me. When i checked in it was 2:55 pm I did notice a sign while waiting on line that if you check in before 3:00 pm there would be a $10.00 early check in fee. By the time i checked in and gave and got my ID back with my keys it was 3:05 pm. Im thinking its after 3:00 pm so everything is cool. The woman that checked me in should have made me aware of the fee and that i would be charged if i decide to go to my room now.what if some people did not notice the sign for some reason? how do you just assume its okay to do this. It;s bad enough that they charge all these extra fees for things I dont use. I dont drive to use parking or any of those things that may be listed on the coupons they give you . $20 off spa treatments that cost $99.00 and up.No food and drink beverage was offer to me. She did not even offer me any coupons but I saw other people using them. At least offer 10% off room service which i did use . Or $5.00 off the buffet there. Both prices were over the hill. And why is there a $5.00 service charge just to place an order from room service? Plus an 18% gratuity for the host and tax? come on give us commoners a break. I love Caesars and its been a while since i stayed here. Boy have things change. Let;s consider the people who really like to stay and play here not just the high rollers and such. Im a senior living on a fixed income. They should think about the money it takes to get here ,spending money, for the room you booked any food and beverages consume while there. I just wanted a plain butter criossant from the 24 hour food court, but not for $4.75 plus tax. It was very disappointing to see every thing so sky high. Last point, I read on line while booking my trip that Total Rewards were honoring the Trump card . If you have comps and tier points they would add it to the Total Rewards card. When i went to the booth to check it out after waiting on line they said it was only for the Chairman Trump card holders. Why didt they make that clear on line so I would not waste my time? Well, enough said I think you get my point !

Conveniently located right at the end of the expressway and central to the boardwalk, it is one of the few remaining "nice" properties in AC (Borgata and Harrahs being the remaining), however, this is by no means as nice, secure, nor updated as the Borgata. My last stay at Caesars was in the Ocean tower, the rooms decor was dated, the bathroom was nice looking but flawed in practice, the rubber seal on the bottom of the glass shower door was not sealed and allowed water to leak through causing the floor to get flooded. Also, when exiting we noticed a vagrant rummaging through a dining cart in the hall way, she was consuming the left over food and pocketed the salt and pepper shaker, we informed security as we got to the casino floor. If youre a non-smoker thinking of staying in a smoking room because of convenience or even price, you may want to think twice. I made the mistake of thinking the smoking rooms would be fine after being cleaned, they were barely tolerable, Ive been in smokers houses that werent as potent, you walk in and are hit with the smell, you stay in long enough, your clothes will smell of smoke, turning on the ac fan to circulate the air assuming the filter would help clean the air will not help. As for the casino floors, more dated decor. During the week, only half the table game pits are open, expect some wait times when the crowds come in or if theres a conference occurring.
