Stay away from this place. This place is a big fraud trying to separate you from your money. Ive been going here for the past 5 years and only won $5k after losing over $100k. What compelled me to write this review is their deceptive marketing practice. They had a February promotion for 150K slot tournament after earning 1000 points in the month of February, I earned over 4000 points after losing over 20K in the month of February. I called an spoke to a marketing rep, an was told I was not eligible for the tournament where in I earned over 4k points. They have their own people who they pay out to and invite to tournaments. Check all the winners over the years and you will see for yourself. Also after losing over 20K in the month of Feb, I received in the month of march three $20 food voucher and $20 free play once during the week and once on weekend. Are you kidding me, after losing over $20K, you have the audacity to send me that. Furthermore they have some racist slot attendants, Ive once ask the floor girls for a 8oz of coke, I did not had any change to tip and a slot attendant who was nearby saw and rudely offered to change my $100 bill, I bluntly refused to change my $100 bill just to tip a $1. The slot attendant reply was "you people are something else", which I find very offending. They are some nice slot attendants, but some are way too rude. This is the most run down casino I ever visited in my life, Ive been to casino in NJ, PA, CT, NV,FL, but this cant compare. They have their own people who they pay out to and send comps. Do not waste your money here, go to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun, or Sands they will treat you like a first class citizen and their comps is 10x better than here. What a joke, they replied a couple days after saying they want to talk to me personally with a listed phone number when you call you get an automated message that you have to listen to for over 5 mins.

The odds pretty good here. NY State Lottery Odds. I win here more than any Indian Casino. I usually win at least $400 within a half hour Playing $3.00 - $5.00 Machines, with taking $100 out of my pocket.. Problem is leaving before that bug in my ears tells me to play the Large Denomination Machines. Some nights were almost magical. Like last $20 hits $400. Then $100s one after another in a row. Friday between 10am and 2pm seem extra good for me.. I personally havent won any big sums, but the little ones add up, as long as your smart about it. Definitely a fun experience everytime because I do at least win money most of the night, even if I walk with nothing in the End, its still fun. Its one Casino where I constantly win on Lower Denomination Penny Slots. I havent had any real luck with Higher Denomination Machines. One time got 777 on a Machine that costs $3, $6, & $9.. I played $3.. $3 Excluded me from Winning with 777. I thought that pretty wacky. Some Machines have really strange rules. Gotta look really closely. Also, look carefully cause I made the mistake many times having accrued over $600, and I go to a different machine thinking its a few dollars, and press max bet, and Max bet is like $25, to $41 per pull. I lost serious money like that.. Won it back though cause I get so lucky in there lol. But still, there are Insanely high Denimination Machines mixed in with Low Denimination ones. Coming from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, I never expected that. They are usually separated and more exclusively guarded. But the Odds are better here in Lower Denom Machines for sure. Overall always have a good experience.

Beware of the electronic roulette. There are streaks that are abnormal. Things that should happen on average once every 500 series of rolls happens too frequently. For example, when looking at the dozens, the average number of spins before one of the 3 dozens gets a hit, is approx 8 spins. However, Ive seen specific dozens not get hit for 16+ spins frequently. Multiply 500 series by the average number of spins per series (7.65) and you get 3800+ spins before something like that should happen on average. They spin approx once every 40 seconds, which means approx 2160 spins per 24 hours. To get 3800 spins, you would need 42 hours to have a 16 spin series where something expected to happen approx 1 out of every 3 spins doesnt happen. What I observed happened on 2 separate days over the course of less than 1 hour. I think if the casino is honest, then the manufacturer has tampered with the game to give the house an edge and make the casinos love the machines. Most gamblers wont notice such trends. I was there to specifically look for that. Also, I saw one series of approx 30 spins where numbers repeated 5 times. To have a number repeat in roulette, this happens on average once every 1400 spins. For it to happen 5 times in the space of approx 1 hr is just unheard of. Play these games at a very high risk. Wouldnt surprise me if it was programmed to knock out higher bets and pay off lower bets - then they could say its gambling. Even if things dont happen according to the odds, they do tend toward those averages over the course of time - thats how the casino makes their money. STAY AWAY!!!

Ive been about 4 times... PROS:1) easy to get to on city bus and nearby, 3)free bag check, 3) entertainment is actually pretty good for small venue 4) easy access to machines to redeem winnings or break large bills 5) seems safe and OK spot to take visiting friends and family for a little fun CONS: 1) its a MONEY TRAP DESIGNED TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE...I guarantee the casino EARNS close to 10 times the amount of money that it PAYS OUT in winnings to players..DONT GO THERE TO GET RICH 2) promo offers are limited and shady for example I signed up as new member and was offered up to $100 reimbursement if I lost $100 or more on my 1st day of play..I won $200 on a slot...played it all back and lost it all...but since I had "won" $200..i was not entitled to the $100 reimbursement offer 3) The casino tracks how much you spend with your comp card..i suspect the system is rigged to let you win a little back only after you have lost a certain amount of money. 4) lots of broken machines (handles or sound dont work) 5) Max bet is minimum of $2-$3 per spin on most slots and $100 dollars will vanish within MINUTES 6) Fast Food options are not cheap but quality is average to poor and food doesnt not look very appealing...eat at your own risk. BOTTOM LINE: YES for an evening of a little casino fun with family or friends...HELL NO if you trying to make some big gambling money...take $100 bucks and call it a night

Empire City Casino DOES NOT accept or cater to nationals. I presented my Allodial American National Identification Card, recognized by all governments & the U.N. I am soverign with natural, unalienable birthright and not a "citizen" of the "United States" I was dismissed and treated unfairly. All they said was and I quote "Oh Ive never seen this card before".... Is it my fault that Empire City Casino does not accept a Moorish American National, "In Prpria Persona. I requested a refund for $25.00 (USD) that I was charged on the casino shuttle (upon entry) to become a memeber. Instead of redund they gave a $10 food voucher and a $10 voucher for games. I asked to see and speak to a competent manager but that was no help. Mostly every employee was pushy and had no customer service skills. A few security guards were respectful, in which I was thankful for. Empire City Casinos SUPERIORS will recieve contact from the proper channels about this matter. Ignorance of the law is NO excuse.
