We went as a family of 21. We rented party booth and rented cabana and paid for a birthday package . Had a nice time till half way thru our time there a little boy ran up to the cabana next to us and stole there double floaty. They had rented one. We had rented 5 of them. We didnt and would never steal another persons. My daughter told them a boy came up and grabbed it but the did not believe us. They called someone who worked there over and that person had us give up our rental to them and made us go get another. They treated us unfair. Then at the end of the event an employee comes over and says one of us took over infant to the pool and let him go poop in the pool. We explained we did no such thing. The baby had been sleeping and just woke up and he was very dry. We asked him to double check with the lifeguard that said that and he did and came back with the same story and an attitude. Ten kids at our party and he blamed the infant that had been sleeping. Wow. When we left someone at our party confessed that it was there 4 year old boy by they didnt realize it till it was to late. So yes Im sorry that took place but not happy that they just randomly accused someone in our party without getting true facts. We spent lots of money there and it was my first time but I will never make that mistake again. I will never tell anyone about this place either. Employees need more training with these types of situations.

We only have two options in fresno ca. Island water park or wildwaters. This is the second time to the Island water Park. Its the closest to our home. We are a family of 7 so it gets expensive. I was diapointed buy our experiance. We went yesterday and for the money we spent for 7 of us to go, we spent almost 200.00 to get in the park plus the 5 dollar parking and 12 dollars for 1 large beer for my husband. I used the bathroom it was not kept up had alot of flies and the little garbage in each stall for the womens bathroom was full. The bathrooms are old and looked like they need an update, where is all there money going? Mabey the water bill is too high, i dont know? I couldnt even guess how many people where there they had to of spent the same amount of money as us?? The line for a soda, dip n dot and a beer was long. They need more employees. I was so glad I finally got to front of the line , then I had to wait because they ran out of cups, I wanted a souviner cup, they didnt have any. We had a hard time finding a place to sit when we went most of the good tables were reserved and taped off. They didnt have any employees cleaning in between people comming and going. Next year we are going to try wildwaters. It seemed like the only people that got catered to were the ones who can afford the entrace and afford a cabana. I think our money should matter too.

First time here and we had a great experience. Make sure you bring cash for the parking, $5.00. My son enjoyed the kiddy pool area. We rented out one of the cabanas and throughout the entire time we were there we received awesome service. You only get service with the cabana rental. Our waiter kept coming around and checking to see if we needed anything. Also, the GM also came and checked on us and answered all the questions we had. We recieved great service overall. Now, as previous posted stayed, the life guards do blow the whistle a lot telling kids not to run. But, we did witness a few kids slip and hit the floor hard. So, they are looking out for the safety of the kids. We mainly came to the park for our son and he had a blast. So, we also had a great time! Now, suggested upgrades for the park. Accept credit cards for parking. Square has a great and inexpensive system for it. Maybe setup an actual stand alone booth at the entrance of the park where people can pay for parking. Also, have it so that we can tip the waiter on the credit card receipt. We didnt bring cash and there is no ATM in the park. So, I wasnt able to tip the waiter for his great service.

This place has really built a lot of cool things since I was last there. There are a lot of fun things for everyone in the family. That aside, they hire in bulk and they hire quickly. So when that happens, you tend to not have quality staff. Thats exactly the case here. When I first got there, I asked someone at the churro stand where the changing rooms were. She said she didnt know. She asked another girl who was with her and that girl wasnt sure but that there MIGHT be some in the restroom on the other side of the park going the other way. She said it would be dark in there. She was definitely right about that. It was VERY dark in all the womens restrooms I went into that day. They also reeked of urine really badly as if people just urinated where they stood. The park itself is a lot of fun but the employees made it a chore to deal with, honestly. I know its hot and its packed 100% of the time but that comes with the job you applied for, ya know? They could definitely show a bit more courtesy and at least look like they like their job.

Had my Daughters Birthday here. They were suppose to supply the cake at the very last minute when we were going to do cake and ice cream they told me they couldnt do the cake for some reason the chef didnt know about my party but I booked 2 months in advance. I had to leave to go run to the store to go buy a cake. They tried to make up for it though by giving free food but it wasnt enough to feed all my party guest. They also stated when i booked the party that my daughter would get a decorated party and a free pass to come back she didnt get any of that because they didnt have the decorations didnt realize until we left she didnt get her free pass they should have done something to make up for all the mishaps. Very unorganized with planning parties but its a fun place to cool off for the summer. Also Wild Water may be better for Adults but I would choose the Island water park anyday for my Kids they are more kid friendly to me.

The perks of this park would be the kiddie area & lazy river!!! The downfalls are the rude employees, & some of the rude managers. This was my first time there, we rented the biggest Cabana there our waiter rarely ever checked in on us. The employees in consession were too busy discussing who they do & dont know at school & didnt bother serving the customers in line!!! There fireworks show was 30 mins & a fire broke out!!! Comparison between Wild Water & the Island: the Island has a way much better kiddie area. Wild Water has an awesome firework show, much better customer service & a larger area to find a spot if you dont get to reserve a cabana. If the Island worked on the attitudes of their employees & worked on customer service I believe it would be the family oriented park they are looking for!!!! I would definitely give them another try & see if cages were made!!!
