This has got to be the WORST water park Ive ever been to. My family and I traveled here from Ohio for a family reunion. This water park was on the intenarary as an activity to enjoy as a family. Unfortunately, it was absolutely awful. Lets start from the very beginning. ● We arrived at the Water park (all 30 of us) with our tickets that were printed prior to coming to avoid waiting in the will-call line. ● Our printed tickets wouldnt scan at the door all but, 2 of them. It read that the tickets were "suspended." We pre-paid & spent well over $825.00 for this day! We were then told we had to go to Will Call to rectify the situation. ● We waited 45 minutes to simply speak with management about the situation. We were told the tickets were "flagged" since the purchase was made out of state????!!!! That does not logically add up or make sense. It was an online purchase. After going through each ticket we were offered drink vouchers after I asked to be compensated and/or reimbursed SOMETHING for our inconvenience. Brittany (one of the employees) at the window told me that we could have drink vouchers but, that was all they could do. We were directed to Guest Services to pick up the vouchers. ● So, we get to Guest Services and Nancy was the employee at the window that was totally unaware of our issue. She needed to verify the vouchers. After waiting 20 minutes, she comes back to the window with another employee Noelle whom informed us that we would only get 10 vouchers. I asked why since we have a party of 30, including 2 special needs kids. Noelle said, "your party is too large." I responded that it wasnt too large to spend money on admission. At this point, weve wasted 2 hours trying to rectify that this awful park created! ●We took our measly (10) tickets and proceeded to ride. Unfortunately, the lazy river was closed and the wait for the water slide was too long. My children were able to ride 1 water the slide the entire time. ● My neice and youngest son came to me very upset telling me that an employee yelled at them. I went to speak to the young lady about the situation and she told me that she had only been working there for a month. I explained to her that its a way to speak to children and a way to talk to adults. Children wont receive what youre saying if you scream at them and their cognitive development is different than most adults. She responded that she "gets mad quickly." I continued to stand there and I asked her what does that mean?! At this point, I realized I was talking to a young adult with a low social-emotional and cognitive development delay! ● Conclusion:.....DONT GO HERE! SAVE YOUR MONEY. THIS IS THE WATER PARK FROM HELL AND ITS DIRTY. ● If you have a complaint, contact Six Flags corporate office at: 924 Avenue J East Grand Prarie, Texas 75050 ● Complain to the Better Business Bureau ● Lastly, a word of advice for Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.........your staff should invest in the following training: CUSTOMER SERVICE CARE ETIQUETTE TRAINING INCREASING EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION CONFLICT RESOLUTION EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS

This water park is the worst one Ive ever been to. So many inefficiencies and so many ghetto people that it killed the whole atmosphere for us. Based on this alone I wont come back. Ever. But it gets better. We came opening weekend of 2017 and some of the very few rides they had to offer werent in operation. When you have so few rides to begin with, no rides should ever be closed. Then, we barely went on our first ride of the day and just as we were going to stand in line for a 2nd slide, an employee tells my boyfriend he cant get on because of the rivets in his swim trunks. I think they have more things to worry about with all the ghetto people walking around, but okay. So we get the gift shop for rivet protectors, which was ridiculous to have to buy in the first place. We waited in an hour long line because theres only 1 gift shop and 2 people working. Oh and somehow the average customer takes 20 minutes up at the register. Idk how, the just do. So we finally could get on more rides, but the lines took so long we could only get on 1 more before lunch and then the dirty crowded "lazy" river that you cant be lazy in unless you purchase a float. Purchase a float? I couldnt do it; this was absolutely ridiculous. Okay, so now its lunch time here. This park is not equipped to handle this many people at all on a weekend for lunch. Theres only really 1 place for buy food and everything is poorly labeled. We waited in a line for 30 mins before asking someone in line if that line was just for one specific food category. She said yes. It should be labeled somewhere that a line corresponds to the food that is labeled above the line. So theres a special line just for pizza and a line just for burgers. Ive never even heard of this. So after 30 mins of waiting in the wrong line, we got out of the burger line. We then waited in the pizza line for about 45 mins and only moved up about 2 people. Then we waited another 15 mins before finally realizing we wouldnt be eating for another 2 hours. We realized because everyone came with their ghetto families, everyone was ordering a whole pizza which arent already made. So youre waiting in line for 1 slice when someone is up at the register for 30 mins or more for 1 whole pizza. I was so hungry that I was going to pay $5 for a pop tart from the vending machine but decided against it as I thought it might be old and stale like the rest of the park. We left the park instead and got pizza somewhere else which took us about 40 mins total to order a full pizza for 2 people, drive back and forth from the park, walk back, etc. The fact that I had to leave the park for food tells you all you need to know. Then we got on 3 rides when we came back and then the park closed. We were there from 10:30-6 and only got on 5 rides, one which was repeated twice since there are only like 8 slides in this whole park. Next time were going to just spend more money and go to Disneyland.

So it was fun, and I guess it was worth the time driving in traffic, considering I came from San Diego. But this had to be the smallest water park Ive ever seen. So I called before I went and I asked them a few questions. 1. Can I bring food in? A. No, but if you have small children with good restrictions, we will allow the parents to bring food for their children. You are allowed to bring your own water or water bottles and we can refill them free of charge. 2. Do I need to bring my own towels. A. Yes, we would recommend you bringing your own towels. 3. Can I bring my own floaty/life vest for my children? No. We have life vest here at the park for small children that we provide for the guest free of charge. Okay, so heres where my issues come in to play. First off, I witness lots of people bringing in there own food. Throughout the entire park, there were people everywhere eating their own food. Now, I dont really care that they got there own food in, my concern is, how well they checked these bags. If people snuck theyre own food in then good for them, but imagine what else they could have snuck in. Or lets say they didnt sneak their food in and the security just straight up let them in with their food. Either way, if you have a rule, stick to it. Its not fair to everyone. Next issue, this kids vest situation ticked me off. So I walked in the park and literally every small kid I saw, had their own personal floatation device. Not only that but when I went to the rental place to get life vest for my kids, they were all out! Seriously!?! Omg I was so mad. I had my kids floaties with me and didnt bring them in because they told me I couldnt. So my kids couldnt enjoy the water for a whole hour until we finally came across some abandoned ones around the park. Other things that were ridiculous were the amount of women walking around in inappropriate swim wear. Okay, a two piece, fine, but why do you have on a bra, like a literal bra and a thong walking around in a kid friendly environment. Thats not even the part that upset me, its the fact that the staff didnt say anything. Like you can clearly see these ladies entire but and no one is saying anything. There were also a maltitude of people swimming in regular clothes, which The rules on the site clearly say thats not allowed and they are not doing anything about it. Overall I just feel like, if youre gonna have rule at least enforce them, if not then change the rules so that its fair to everyone and so that things are made clear for families to better prepare. The last thing I will add is the ridiculous price online for the stupid(not even big enough or shaded properly cabanas). We would have gladly paid 300$ online for a cabana, but come one 1500$ online to book advance! Wth!! Then when I got there and saw the cabanas, REALLY?! I wouldnt even have paid 100$ for that. Not worth it. Get it together!
