My husband and I have been doing business with Jay and then Russ Kodner for many years. We always feel like our business is valued and appreciated. The auction results, whether jewelry, sterling or fine arts, have been amazing. We have had most of our purchases appraised and they ALWAYS appraise for well beyond what we have paid. We are so happy with Kodners, that we have introduced many friends to the auction site and currently even have a "friends" Kodner auction night where we partake of wine and keep the Kodner site on our computer for all our bidding when we cant be in attendance. We find all the staff from Russ to Paula to Kevin to Lisa to Betsy and the rest to be most respectful and attentive. They are a pleasure to deal with and we recommend them highly.

I have been a customer of Kodner Galleries since they opened up in South Florida in the 1980s! I have purchased fine jewelry from Jay and Russ Kodner over the years and have been extremely pleased. I have also sold and consigned items to Russ Kodner and have had exceptionally professional interactions. The Gallery operates with the utmost of high ethics. This is the type of business that requires honesty and ethical practices, especially if it is to maintain this type of excellent reputation going into its 108th year! This company is selling counterfeit chinese coins (and possibly other material) at their Estate Auction Company location. I bid on and won a few lots of what were purported to be old chinese coins. When I received them it was clear they were counterfeit. When confronted on this they absolve themselves of responsibility by intentionally being vague in their description. They continue to sell these counterfeit coins on a weekly basis with the confirmed knowledge that they are counterfeit. This is a felony.

Very fast invoicing. Called Kodner Galleries o coordinate a time for me to pick up my items and the answered the phones every time in a timely manner. I gave them a day of Friday but I got severely ill on Thursday so I couldnt make it on Friday. I called Kodner Galleries and asked if they could hold my items until Monday and they had no problem with it. They were very professional but also very nice. Will definitely enter their auctions again....

A reputable auction house with many years in the business. To the dimwit who bought the Chinese coins and apparently doesnt understand how auctions work, I would say: do your research and dont think you are going to buy a $3000 lot for $100. When you screw up and do something stupid dont be all butthurt and blame the auction. Ive bought numerous lots here and I have never had a problem or seen any attempts to misrepresent items.
