Alpine Ponds is similarly priced to other venues in the Boise/Meridian area, but is certainly no bargain. For the price you pay, one can do much better than this place, and I feel bad for convincing my friend to have her wedding here. It is a very beautiful venue, and it offers some semblance of seclusion and natural ambiance, but ultimately it didnt deliver for us. What isnt apparent when youre touring the grounds is that its situated near residential areas and homes. During the reception--which was on a Saturday night--the neighbors put in three noise complaints and we had to end the reception prematurely after futile attempts to appease them by keeping the noise levels down. We didnt feel the noise was excessively loud, but it is an outdoor venue and sound can carry. We dont blame the neighbors for wanting peace and quiet, but it doesnt make sense to have a party/wedding venue in a residential area without warning potential clients that the trees are hiding houses. There was something else that bothered me as well. While we were setting up, I overheard the owner dressing down one of his employees in a very unkind and unprofessional way, which lent some bad energy and negativity to the place. Its hard to appreciate a beautiful place when you see a glimpse of the mistreatment that yields it. Our wedding party chose Alpine Ponds over the others due to its proximity to the homes of our friends and family, but in hindsight we all wished we would have chosen one of the other fine venues. Shop around and scope the area around a venue before you choose, it could really save you a lot of hassle.

I would give them 10 stars if I could!! Seriously sooo amazing!! They mad our dream wedding come true! I had soany ideas in my head and between Amy and Russia they made it happen.. I have never planned a wedding. So we need lots of advise and guidance. They were there every step of the way! The entire event went so smoothly and all my guest had sooo much fun! One thing we loved about this venue is that you can bring your own and do your own... most venues you have to use their catering or their liquor ect. NOT ALPINE!! Pretty much they make it what you want! On top of all that the venue its self is beautiful! And very well kept! Seriously amazing!

I have a sort of 6th sense about people, and it usually doesnt steer me wrong. My fiance and I toured this place, and it seemed nice, but the owner/manager rubbed me the wrong way, and made a few comments that made us uncomfortable. I looked the guy up on the repository, and saw he was once arrested for domestic assault! We all make mistakes, but just as I wouldnt want a former child predator working at schools, I dont want my special today in the hands of someone with a sketchy background. We found comparable venues with reputable proprietors we felt more comfortable working with.

When we showed up to tour the property during introductions the manager went to shake my fiances hand and said, "This must be the Father". Either she thought he was old or that I was pregnant. She did not recover well and I did not feel heard about my ideas for the day and in general felt pretty negative about the location. Unfortunately, we dont feel comfortable giving Alpine Ponds consideration due to the lack of professionalism. I dont want my guests to have that experience.

Beautiful setting truly lovely. Green grass, water ponds, plenty of shade trees, pretty gazebo makes a magical setting for that special day. There is ample parking and space for a large gathering. Best portapotty Ive seen, air-conditioned with cold running water. A couple of negatives: it is not handicapped friendly, the access to the restroom is difficult to navigate and certainly not ADA. The dance floor was not the greatest the tiles were loose and uneven.

We had the great opportunity to photograph a wedding hosted at Alpine Ponds Event Center and it is a photographers dream. Beautifully done allowing so many opportunities for a photographer to get amazing images. Management were very accommodating and did a great job for their client. Strongly recommend you at least check it out, you would not have guess it was so neatly tucked away !! A+++

Beautiful venue! I planned my perfect day for over a year and things could not have gone better the day I married my best friend. The team at Alpine were so helpful and made sure that I had everything that I needed. Ive been working in some capacity at Alpine for a long time. Its made huge advances over that time. The wedding industry is stressful and difficult. Alpine does a wonderful job diffusing the problems that seem to pop up with every wedding. As an officiant I look forward to weddings there because the staff is prepared and flexible.

A beautiful venue, we love the white gazebo that is nestled by the pond. This place was a photographers dream, with the rolling green hills and mature pines. The flexibility of using our own caterer and having an open bar was a real bonus. Nice people to work with, we highly recommend.

I would not suggest this to anyone, extremely unprofessional, was rescheduled 3 different times. When we did have an appointment set up, our scheduled time was some how not on the calender again! Very unimpressed.
