For the money spent and the age of the venue, it is not a bad movie going experience. The staff there are attentive and do all they can to make you happy. I had an issue with the sound being a bit low on Hidden Figures. One of the managers on duty rushed to correct the problem. And even checked with me after the show ended to ask if there were any other issues. I value that. Everyone has issues with how concessions are priced at theaters. And will complain. But its always been like that. When you go see a movie, prepare to spend at least 30 bucks. The ticket prices here are very low. But the concession prices are the same. Which cannot be helped. Being a budget theater, they have to make profits somewhere. There was a lady complaining in front of me about her large combo being 15 bucks. Its the same price at the first run theaters. And you dont get a discount on candy when you get the combos at the first run ones. At least at the budget theater they knock off a buck or two lol The poor kid was explaining the prices and she was just giving him a hard time. I have gone to this theater multiple times over the years and i can see the changes that are being made. The staff is good (even though they deal with some pretty rude and eccentric people). The management does a great job with upkeep (as much as they can. It is an old theater, having worked as a manager of an older video store..all you can do is make it as clean as possible and wait for the higher ups to give an ok for some remodeling). If you are looking for a good day or night out to see a flick, go there. And usually ,on the weekdays, you can have a theater all to yourself! And they have foreign films!! The ticket prices are higher for these..around 15 bucks i think ,as they are imports, but where else in topeka are you going to find Bollywood movies on the big screen???

The staff was very attentive, opening doors for me when I went to the lobby after the movie started. I use a scooter and was amazed to see the door opening for me. The same young man who helped me get out was waiting to let me back in. Yes, the small sized ICEE was over six dollars and the chairs built for small framed people. As I sat down, the chair swung back abruptly to a reclining position. I felt pinned in and have no room so I sat a seat away and on the end. The theaters really need new seats. If I were rating it on the employees, I would give it four, but since the decor was not only outdated, uncomfortable and too small, making most guests feel like sardines, I give it a two. If the owners would update their seating, the place would probably draw more visitors.

I still call it the two dollar movie, but it is now $350 and that is still a bargain I bring my grandchildren and my mom to the movies because its a good bargain we can see a good movie even though we can buy it in the store and still has that theater atmosphere and I love that. And the people here are very great people I think shes a manager named Christina was very very nice so and all the people that worked with her Ive never had a problem here have always been here and enjoy myself and the people have been very good to me come visit stop by and see a movie have a great day and enjoy the movie.

Went to see the New Transformers. Parking lot is littered with trash. Bathroom was not clean. There were only 16 people in the theater and 10 of them would not shut up during the movie...parents were letting their kids run all over the place screaming while other kids were climbing over the seats and the staff did NOTHING about it! Theater #2 has parts of the wall hangings ripped off exposing the sound deadening material. Seats were torn. I have really lost respect for this place and its owners.

The theatre itself is fine, it is the people who come in and talk loudly through the whole viewing, we were there this passed weekend and asked the teenagers behind us to please be quiet, after a couple of times of this and them not listening we went and got a manager, I just think that they need to do more walk throughs and to make sure children are not left unattended in a theatre where they can act up and run around.

Bargain tickets, so I expected bargain seating, and thats what we got. Fairly comfortable, so no complaint there. But concession prices are ridiculous. Popcorn is seven bucks and change, sodas five and change, and buying them together? No savings, too bad. Over twenty bucks for a large popcorn and two drinks special. I get that they have to turn a profit, but wow, no deal on the specials.

My family enjoys going here. Most of the time it is less congested and the prices are affordable for the movies. The concessions are on the high side and we rarely purchase them and the popcorn is usually luke warm and stale. The seats are comfortable. All in all we like going here.

You get what you pay for. $3 for a movie thats a few months old. Theater quality varies. I believe auditorium 7 or 8 had god awful blown out speakers. All dialog in the center speaker was in a tin can, and all the bass was making a flapping fart noise through the movie.

$3 a movie, unbeatable unless you stay home, I would always recommend buying your candy at the dollar store before coming here unless you are upper class or work 70 hours a week. Even though its cheap to watch the movies the seating is very comfy and movies are in 4K.

This is the place to go to see movies in the big theater if you like the atmosphere and dont mind waiting a few months or longer for the movies to show up in this theater. The price is good as well 2-3 dollars so not bad on that end. Fun place.

Great value for seeing newer movies that are no longer in first run theaters. Not the newest or fanciest, for instance the seats are pretty basic, but when tickets are less than $3 I dont expect it to be. Concessions are normal for theater pricing.

Good place for a bargain on a movie. As typical, concession prices are high but its kind of offset by the discount on the tickets. Parking lot was loaded with trash and the Mens bathroom was disgusting when i was there.

I was in high school when this theater opened. Its showing some age but still has all of its original charm. I still prefer going here over the newet theater, and even more so at how high ticket prices are now.

Always good to see recent but not brand new movies for a much lower price. It is a bit pricier than it used to be, but well worth it. Somewhat dated seating and facilities, but fully digital compatable.

Its clean, and its the cheap theatre so your movies wont be expensive but the drinks and candy are just as expensive as the regular movies but its to be expected. They have to make some money.
