Really enjoyed my first time here! I should be giving 5 stars but Im not. The 3 stars is generous and strictly because of one incident. That was the line, the wait and the service at the food & drinks consession stand and the employees totally disregarding the fact that they are there to service you.... They had 2 people working 1 line. So one doing register and the other fetching the orders. This line grows super fast at 30-35 mins til the movie. In fact it was to the doors! If youve never been here thats about 50ft away. We had O approx 60 to 70 people in line and these 2 poor workers were trying to take care of us but they couldnt. The line wasnt moving! Customers in line and the workers were getting impatient as minute by minute standing in line not moving watching the clock creep closer and closer to the movie start time, including myself, whos 50 people back in the line near the ticket booth, where theres a manager and a few other employees just standing there talking. One lady FINALLY approached the manager and threw a fit a few minutes before the movie..... and he FINALLY went and got more help. Let me remind you this is after he stood there doing absolutely nothing at all for 20+ mins. This was ridiculous! Needless to say we finally got through that line and of course we were about 6 or 7 minutes late to the movie. Yup, already past the previews so yes we missed the beginning. We arrived a good 45 to 50 minutes prior to show start to redeemed our tickets as we reserved our seats online. Yes you can do that and it was awesome! Back to the wait! Yes we waited a good 35 min in line to buy an over priced soda. It was 22 dollars for 2 sodas and a small popcorn! Im not sure if this is normal now days or not as I havent been to a theater in ages. We went to see Wind River, and it was good. The reclining seats were very comfortable, the theaters themselves were not over crowded so no one real close to you unless they reserved those seats, and it was clean too. So Conclusion is make sure your there REAL EARLY if you plan to get any snacks or drinks. If I go back and if I experience this again where theres plenty of workers around but they totally disregard the customers waiting minutes before the show then I wont be back a 3rd time. This was in no way shape or form us showing up right before the show. My timing is on point. We are not ones to be late or right on time to anything. We are always early because of things like this. But 30 minutes aint enough time for this trip this time. We will see how our next visit goes and if its better Ill be back to update this review.

Went to see STAR WARS: Rouge One on 12/30/16. Upon entering the floor and the concession stand. There were multiple lines for concession orders. All but 1 line had multiple patrons in them as I walked up to the area. Quite naturally, walked to the line that had only one person in it. Upon the one person leaving, a blonde white male kid looked at me, and then quickly walked to another line to take orders. Mind you, there were lots of workers behind the counter, and no apparent reason for the line I had walked up to suddenly become vacant. I then asked loudly enough at the front of the counter...."Is this line open????" The "one sole" black kid pointed to the back of the other lines. As soon as I turned around, a blonde haired white girl immediately started taking the order of a white man who walked from behind me in the line Id just left. WHAT???!!!!!!! I then immediately walked back to that line and said....."I thought this line was closed????" She simply snickered and laughed. I told the entire staff to forget the transaction. This folks, is what happens when youre black, and go to predominantly white establishments in a racists state like Missouri (this being St. Charles,MO). One white kid walks away when they see you, and another takes the order of whomever they want. Guess they learned from there parents :/.....This was disgusting behavior that left me shocked and embarrassed. Will not be patronizing this establishment, nor Wherenberg theaters unless something is done to correct this situation. IF NOT.....MONEY WILL BE GLADLY SPENT ELSEWHERE. ;) UPDATE:.........Talked to a "Linda" from corporate headquarters on 1/3/17. Explained my horrible experience, exactly as stated above. Didnt get even an offer for a free bottle of water. Didnt bother to take my name, number, nothing. Not that that was the main point of this review, but if I had a customer who experienced what I did, the least I would do is try to accommodate with a coupon or something, in order to make right, an obvious wrong. All this Linda lady said was...."Ill ask the mgr. on duty at the time to view the video, those darn kids."...........Riiiiiiiiiiiiighhhht. Hadnt been to a Wherenberg theater in years. Actually found this one on accident, and wasnt a bad looking theater.......NEVER AGAIN....ILL STICK WITH AMC!!!! ;) GOODBYE.

Tried to take the family to see the Avengers for Mothers Day. Got there at 5 to see the 5:20pm show. Waited in line for 12 minutes, only one ticket window open and only one family ahead of us, obviously there was an issue with their tickets. We get to the window, charged the $40 for 3 seats (assigned stadium seating). The girl at the ticket window then explains that our tickets will not print. We stand there for a bit as the movie start time inches closer. They then write our seat numbers on a random piece of paper. We get to our seats just in time for the trailers to start. I get up to use the restroom, to come back and find another family was trying to take our seats. The other father and I walk with an usher back to the counter, the young man at the counter checks the other mans tickets as Im explaining what happened. Which he apparently already knew, as he hands me a receipt showing that my card had already been refunded, explains that they sold our seats from under us, then offers to re-seat us. I find this unacceptable as we had purchased our tickets first, had already purchased food, and the movie had already begun, now Im expected to take less desirable seats? I expressed my discontent with their crappy customer service. The theater did refund our our refreshments and a manager tried again to re-seat us, I had no interest in missing the first part of the film, and I have no interest in ever spending money at this location ever again. - We did make it in time to catch a showing at mid-rivers, so our Mothers Day event wasnt a total loss. But no thanks whatsoever to the staff at the Wehrenberg St. Charles 18 Cinema. - Customer lost.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced in my life, ordered pretzel bites and after 8 minutes of waiting, asked the manager for my money back, he asked why and I explained that the movie started 10 min ago, he said well you probably just missed the previews, and if we hurry maybe will still catch the beginning. I explained that the idiots behind the counter were to busy on their cell phones that they never cooked the pretzel bites, and he tried to tell me they make them from scratch, while minutes earlier I asked the concession worker how long it usually takes, and he said they are frozen and normally only take a minute in the microwave. This was a total breakdown of customer service, how idiots like these can even get jobs is a mystery to me. I was so upset I will never go back and none of my family will ever be allowed to go there for life. The new AMC streets of St. Charles is only down the road a couple of minutes and way newer and nicer
