We came to Denver to watch the Spurs play the Nuggets... we lost today but I have to say Nugget Fans are a class act. We all had a blast and afterwards we went to La Rumba Night club. We went in knowing it was a Salsa, Merengue, Reggae ton club with a bit of Cumbia and we had a blast. Just got to Hotel and I have to say me and the wife are super happy.. Everyone was respectful from the management to staff and patrons. So many people from different backgrounds and no one cared. we all had fun and there was no rudeness from anyone, even though I have no idea what to do on the dance floor... wow.. if you are in Denver and would like to experience a good time go to La Rumba.. Great Place... Thank you!!!

Went on a Friday 4/8/16. The lady that took my cover money was rude, she seemed mad. The place was packed could barely move in some spots, not many places to sit down. Theres just one big dance floor. The sound system was pretty basic. This place caters to a mostly Mexican, older crowd. I thought the DJ wasnt that great, felt like he was playing random tracks on skip with no flow. He played alot of old stuff from the 90s. I was only here for like an hour, he played some random obscure salsa from the 90s, 1 cumbia song and some classic bachatas from the early to mid 90s. If youre really into dancing latin music this could be a fun place for you otherwise Id say skip it.

It was several years ago that i happen to be in Denver Colorado, i was their for only 6months, But let me tell you being from NYC and a Salsero. i found myself in this Great little Club call La Rumba.. it was like being in NYC the music was banging and the crowd was Fantastic..the Club was small but it had that great dance hall flavor..i always say if i find myself in Denver again i will visit La Rumba again and again. any Salsero that travels to Denver do yourself a favor and check out this high energy club out you wont be disappointed..

Had been several times with friends, always a good time... Despite its proximity to the city. Tonight a couple of friends were in town and we went out downtown, they kept saying this spot was to far, but I insisted... Saying what a good time it was. Showed up and were told our attire (despite our groups skirts, collard shirts, and sobriety) were not acceptable.... Literally everyone within spitting distance of us in the club was dressed the same or worse. Gone... Wont be back. Mostly confused.

Fantastic place to spend an evening. I was in Longmont for 3 weeks. Thankfully, I found this place early in my trip. I took both Salsa and Bachata workshops. Teachers were fantastic. Employees were too notch. The patrons were great. Nice sized crowd, even in Sundays. No drama. No drunks. No fighting. Just people wanting to learn how to dance. Cost was reasonable, $10 Th-Sat, $6 on Sunday. I only wished we had one in NC.

La Rumba is a great night out! Friendly bartenders, great live music, and a welcoming crowd. They also offer salsa lessons on Saturday nights. GO! Rachel Farley is an exceptional teacher, and we had so much fun in her class. If you want to try something different than the regular bar scene, this is the perfect place: learn to salsa, live music, mojitos....Its a great time!

This was a clean, fun and safe place on a Saturday Night. The cover was cheap, live band was great. There was good mix of all types of people and of all ages. The DJ was not so good, but the live band more than made up for it. Dance floor was also very crowded, but I see this as a sign of a successful place.

This is a long standing club in Denver. I am a night residential concierge; and one of my residents asked my about it it this evening. I gave an awesome recommmendation and was thrilled to see they are still open and attracting crowds. I would frequent LaRamba literaly 10 years ago!

Although this is a hot spot for late night entertainment, dinner was quite a pleasant surprise. A small menu but all items were prepared and served very appealing and were generous and delicious. Just a short walk from Union Square and worth finding.

Great salsa lessons with a skilled instructor! Then mingle and dance with fellow students from the lesson, great time, good people from all backgrounds. Drinks were pretty reasonable for Denver night life. I will def be going back soon. Thanks, Ian.

Ive been coming here for the past month and Ive really enjoyed myself with the salsa dancing lessons and drinks. Im very happy that they serve a new Orleans classic "hurricane" here. Live music and friendly salsa atmosphere that you cant beat

Do not go to this place if you do not want to be charged twice for the same thing. Bouncers are EXTREMELY rude! Fat guy thinks he is the bees knees. To bad I can not give any stars... Half their stuff was way overpriced too...

I didnt take any lessons, but I did take advantage of ladies getting in for free before 11 on Fridays. They have pretty good mixed drink specials as well...not so much for beer. Its a nice place to kick back and dance.

I payed $80.00 in la Rumba for a punch card. It sopouse to be good for ten lessons. After two times they decided not to take the punch card any more. Do not give away your money go somewhere else!!!!!!!!

Their Saturday Night live music and dancing was awesome! Only complaint is that there isnt enough seating and the dance floor is too small, people spilled out into the separate bar area.

Salsa nights here give off a definite rapey vibe. Probably better to go somewhere else.

If they did Mexican music as well they would be the best, and cheaper drinks.
