I had my wedding here last month. They were awesome right from the beginning. Back in September, we drove out to tour the place without calling ahead but they showed us around and answered all of my annoying questions anyway. When we decided to sign the contract, Rachel helped walk us through everything we needed to know and was really patient with me, again as a typical bride I had A LOT of questions. On our wedding day anything we needed they were right there to help with. Since our wedding was in January it was in the ballroom (as opposed to outside) which was the perfect size. We also had the reception in the ballroom and Belvoir flipped the room for us. We had agreed to a certain setup prior to the wedding, then realized that was not a good setup; Belvoir took care of it and put the room together perfectly. Customer service: 5 out of 5 All of our guests loved walking around the building and seeing all of the art and different rooms. We hardly needed any decorations because the place is beautiful! There is a lot of local art and a ton of history all over the place. My favorite thing was the amazing glass wall at the bar, it is absolutely gorgeous. Each room had a different feel to it, so it was fun going into all of the different rooms for pictures. Appeal / design / decorations: 5 out of 5 Lastly, the bar was pretty awesome. They do have a small selection as opposed to most bars, but most people are there for the wine. The wine was great, which was the thing I was most concerned about because my husband is a bit of a wine snob. He loved it. I will say, they are limited on the variety of shots they can make, but again most people go to try the wine. I cant say anything about the cheese plate because I never actually tried it. Bar: 4.5 out of 5 I will be going back for sure! It is a bit of a drive from where I live, but well worth it.

Paid an exorbitant amount for our wedding reception to be held at the winery. Staff was great, owner was uncooperative and difficult to work with. Plenty of promises that couldnt be delivered on this night. Basically dont listen to what the staff says because it doesnt matter what they say or what you want on your big day if it doesnt fit with the owners delicate mood. He asked for his payment well in advance so his candor towards the friends and family of the bride and groom was less than caring. I could go on and on, and I will on every site I can possibly leave feedback. Go have an overpriced beverage there from time to time and enjoy the view, but dont make the mistake of having your wedding there. Our memories will be forever tainted and cut well short thanks to the owner; a truly inconsiderate human being.

We stayed on a very last minute weekend getaway. Since the quaintness and "hidden treasure" aspect were such a large part of our experience, we would rather keep it that way so we can go back without it being booked all the time or being super busy, as it would be if I were to mention the incredible communication with the innkeeper prior to our stay - by her personally! Nor will I mention the relaxed and welcoming entry and arrival, being treated like someone who was a "regular" and not a new guest. Id like to keep secret the incredibly renovated rooms that were beautiful and modern. The weekend was so relaxing and perfect, I would rather just keep it my husband and Is best kept secret getaway location. So please dont tell anyone how amazing it is.

This is absoultely the greatest place to have a Wedding/Reception!!!!!. Daughters was 8/17. The Belvoir crew was fun, efficient and did everything they could to make it a beautiful day for my daughter and her fiance. Rachel was great to work with and Jessie was always there with a helping hand in setting up for Wedding, along with. other staff. I could never say enough about how happy we were/are. I almost wish we could do it again. I know our guests had fun because they did not want to leave!!! As an added note the wine is so good my daughter-in-law bought 3 bottles to bring back to St. Louis. THANK YOU BELVOIR FOR A BEAUTIFUL DAY MY FAMILY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER!!!!

Beautiful rooms an courtyard cool bar. Rooms are quite, larg, and cool (great a.c.) freshly remolded. If your lucky enough to have a wedding there Im sure the experience would be amazing an the photos spectacular. We spent the night after our small wedding, comfy beds and linens cute rooms. Ball rooms were large and pretty, just a really cool and historic building. The courtyard outside is like something out of a movie just beautiful and huge. Plus they say the grounds are haunted, if it is the ghosts are very hospitable an tucked me in for one of my favorite nights away from home experiences ever. Also very affordable

This place is absolutely beautiful, from the front gate, the gazebo, the horses, the old buildings...You can see the potential and where it is going. The wine is awesome, the employees are the best and the atmosphere and history of the place, makes it all worthwhile. I spent both my Saturday and Sunday there recently, all day both days. It will become one of my favorite hangouts and I am so glad I found it. Take a walk around and just look at the view. I highly recommend it!

We had our wedding there on May, 3, 2014! The staff was absolutely wonderful and easy to work with! We had an outdoor wedding at the gazebo and the reception inside the ballroom. The whole place is just awesome. It has so much history and personality. Our Wedding was gorgeous and everything turned out wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place for a wedding! The wine is also delicious :)

Beautiful historical site. It is definitely a destination that cant be overlooked if you are going to the Kansas City area. The wine is incredible and is getting better every year. The setting is amazing with the early 1900 architecture and furniture it gives the feeling of grandeur and grace. It is definitely a high five star facility with a five star staff.

My friends and I had an opportunity to enjoy a night at the lovely Inn at Belvoir. We had such a great time. We really enjoyed the beautiful decor, fantastic wine, beautiful, clean rooms with comfortable beds! The staff was wonderful and we will definitively return! We even had a little "activity" in one of the rooms. Thanks so much for the wonderful time!

We love the Plumeria wine! Weve also been on a haunted tour which was pretty fun. A great historic building with new life! Beautiful facility and grounds. Sometimes we walk up to the cemetery and toast the former residents and members of the "Odd Fellows". Its so relaxing to sit out on the side porch with a bottle of wine!

The owner was so personable and took time to tell us all about the ghost stories, which was the main reason we ventured out to belvoir. The wine was delicious, grounds were gorgeous, and there is so much character. Its much appreciated that the owner is keeping the history of the buildings. Highly recommended!!
