Just played in the Glen Eagle amatuer tournament the other day. They started us on the backside and when we finished our group had to wait 30 minutes till we could tee off on the front. Working at a golf course myself when someone pays for 18 and finishes 9, they have priority of the tee. The first nine was 2 hours and after the 30 minute wait it took 3 hours to play the second 9! One good thing was the greens were nice fast and smooth. But I was disapointed in the staff for cramming those three groups out in front of us after we had finished nine.

Glen Eagle is very straight and flat. No problem walking here. There is water next to several holes, but not near enough to seem to be in play. The 18th hole has an island green, but like the rest of the course, the water doesnt seem to really be close enough to make you worry about it. .

Living in Salt Lake I hadnt played here for a while... The course was great, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The burger after was the best Ive ever had at a golf course. Im glad I made the extra drive today!
