Affordable, the staff seems friendly, there are good snack choices that are reasonable also.... Not the cleanest, but not decrepit, the Decour could definitely use an update but when youre going to movie yet going to be staring at the ugly floor so really who cares. Overall, I would recommend someone going there because the tickets are definitely affordable, especially when you have a large family or big group, the staff is friendly, and again, great snack variety... thats typically what makes your movie experience besides the screen and the audio - and the screen and the audio are just fine as well.

I have been driving from Kalamazoo to Plainwell to go to M89 cinema for years. I live 3 miles from Kalamazoo 10 but will gladly go the extra 7 miles to save over $30 per show for 2 people. By buying the bucket and refilling it for $0.50 I can see a movie and get a medium popcorn and medium drink with my ticket for $6-$7, depending on the show time (prices are less before 6 pm). It is the same movie that is showing at other theaters but I pay way less. I hope that people continue to support M89 Cinema to keep the price low for all of us.

Seriously cannot beat this place. Comfortable seats, clean area, popcorn is good (so my wife says, I dont eat popcorn), I love the soft pretzels, nachos, and really good hot dogs. They have ice cream available, and I believe sandwiches as well. Local businesses sponsor them so their prices are very low. I go here with my wife and son, so 3 people, one popcorn, usually 2 dogs and nachos, 2 drinks, and usually a pack or two of twizzlers and we spend under $20. Most places are $10-$15 for a single ticket alone!

There are a number of reasons I like the M-89 Cinema. They are close to my home. They always have the most current movies showing in their 8 viewing rooms. Their prices for movie tickets and all the the fun things to eat and drink (especially the popcorn) while watching are very reasonable. While the theater is not big and fancy, it is clean, with very friendly staff. Word of advice though. Take a sweater with you if going in the summer. It can be quite chilly in there.

Great prices ! Friendly staff and Cheap popcorn !! The refillable plastic Bucket costs $3.00. Monday through Wednesday each bucket fill is $0.50. Thursday is FREE popcorn with bucket and ticket purchase. Friday through Sunday, Buckets are NOT allowed :( Only reason it did not get a 5 star is no cheap popcorn on weekends and the building is a bit dirty, and sometimes the up is not the best.

There is not enough good things to say about this place. It is absolutely awesome to say the least. The only theater where i can take all my family (6 people) to the movies (tickets, popcorn, drinks ect...) and only spend around $60 for ALL OF US. Any other theater i will spend at least $120. Always have the newest and biggest movies. Thanks M89 cenima i cannot tell you how much we love your theater.

Amazing Prices. My wife and I go for an evening show with large popcorn and Drink for less than the process of two tickets other places. They have three prices. Before noon is 250 or so, after till about four is something like five bucks and an evening I believe is 6. Great seating and picture quality. Movies tend to start at show time and previews run up to. Its nice.

I am trying to get ahold of them to schedule a field trip. I have emailed them 3 times through their contact page on their website and have gotten no response. I have called the number but it is only a hotline and does not offer a way to contact a person. This is proving to be a very frustrating experience and I am disappointed in their lack of communication.

Great prices - We love weekend mornings - 2 tickets, 2 large drinks, & a large popcorn for ~$10. Even primetime is less than $20 for all of the above plus a candy. Seats are comfy, staff is nice, and movies are 1st run. The "butter your own" popcorn feature is a big hit for me who loves plenty of butter and salt!!

This is a great theater. I try to see a movie here at least once a month. Its $5 to see a movie. Popcorn and a soft drink is about 3 bucks. The theater is clean and the people are friendly. Try the hotdogs and nachos. They even have gourmet popcorn. I will treat my grown kids and their families to a movie.

I love this place! First run movies that you can afford AND enjoy popcorn etc without breaking the bank! I believe I spent $8 on the movie, popcorn, a chicago style hotdog and a drink the other week! Hard to beat that- I cant bring myself to go to the other cinemas in town now after this experience.

This theater is great! I love the inexpensive pricing and yeah it looks a little beat up but its great. :) I love the popcorn and how they have dipping dots. Its really inexpensive usually only spend 20 bucks for two people versus Kalamazoo 10 which is 32 for two people and snacks. Great savings!

Awful!!!? Movie never played. Sat in dark theatre for one hour before someone cane into tell us. Ticket sales person argued with us about reimbursing our online fandango fee for purchasing them online. Awful experience, especially when we drove from Kalamazoo.

I must say I wasnt sure what to expect from the theatre. But for the cost it is a excellent venue to watch movies. Very affordable including the refreshments. Popcorn could be a little fresher but thats a minor complaint. I enjoy going there i wish i lived closer!

Very cheap! Very clean, and they have great popcorn! This is the best place in the area! Great place for everything you would want in a movie theater! My only complaint, was that it looked a little old and dusty on the walls in the lobby.

If you want to see a movie do it here! The ticket and concession prices are much cheaper than any other theater I have been to, I got a ticket and a medium pop and small popcorn for just 8 bucks!, I would highly recommend it!

Without question, our favorite place to see movies. Its south of Grand Rapids, but so worth it! Friendly staff, ridiculously better prices and affordable snacks. May this family-owned theater never sell to the profiteers...

So, this place feels questionable. Doesnt matter; Movies were $5 a ticket on a Friday night. Seats were super comfy (and kinda rocking) Sound was good quality. Screen was big enough. Shows brand new movies (Saw Wonder Woman)
