Have been in a wedding party for 2 weddings here within the past year. Not impressed. Food is good, but service needs A LOT of work. At both both weddings, we didnt eat until 9:45pm. I witnessed 2 trays being dropped at both weddings, which is most likely why there was such a long wait for food. You have to buy a ticket before you can get a drink (if there isnt open bar), which I have never seen before and is quite annoying. Some tables didnt have any bread at all, while others had 4 baskets, some people didnt get served a salad at all and some who did didnt have salad dressing, drink glasses were never cleared from the tables, and being at the head table I had to go searching for more water on both separate wedding occasions because there wasnt a server to be found. Maybe I am more picky than others because I am in the service industry, but when you spend over 20 thousand dollars on one day, I think these are basic things that should be done. Spend $50 and pay some young kids to fill up the guests water, its an easy thing that makes people happy. Guests were complaining that it was so hot in the cocktail hour room, and that they had to go outside. When we arrived at the venue with the bride, there was no one to greet us. I had to go inside and find someone to tell us where the wedding suite was. That didnt start the night off too well. Its a shame that a beautiful venue and one of the only in the area has gone so downhill because of unqualified staff. They could have booked numerous weddings since the wedding parties were all engaged couples, but none of us were impressed. Food was good though!

I have held events from weddings to the TOP 25 Women to Watch events to planning Chamber events since the new management has taken over. In the last two years the food has been excellent. We have not had ANY problems with the menu selections or the food being a problem. With 255 people at the last event, the reviews have been excellent. Everyone was impressed with the food and the service. and they cannot wait to have the event there again next year. I give high marks to the changes that have been and are continuing to be made by this venue. They are fortunate to have Chef Marcell who has done an incredible job in the kitchen. Mark and is staff are very accommodating and creative to their clientele. I will continue to recommend them very highly for their great food and service. Dee L. My family would take my Mom to Chez Josef every Mothers Day until her passing in 2009. The setup and the food was always fantastic. My first time back was yesterday and it was terrible. All the food was cold and dry and the food stations were all scattered about. There were only about 30 people at most there. Its obvious since the new owners have taken over they are on a downhill slide. I will never eat there again and will be sure to tell everyone I know about this terrible experience for $28.95 per adult.

We plan our holiday luncheon here ever year and they do a great job with it. The event is for about 400 people and Chez Josefs puts together a terrific event. The food is great. They even offer a gluten free/vegan meal. They also do a great job coordinating all those people to get their food in a timely manner.

Went here for a murder mystery dinner which was interesting. But the food was good at least. We would go there again but not for a murder mystery dinner. Ive been to others and they were better, but the food was excellent, the service was excellent so for that 5 stars.

If I could rate lower I would. Pay $65 a ticket get some crap food at your one and only senior prom and then you pay for pictures and then you pay $2 PER drink all night...Disgusting
