Extremely high quality performances, production well timed and choreographed -- the stage personnel kept things transitioning from one performer to another seamlessly. Quality of sound and video was very high....I appreciated the courtesy of the ushers and box office staff. I felt that they did a lot to make my groups experience enjoyable and problem-free....The parking garage had a problem because tailgaters from the football game had sought refuge in the garage during the thunderstorm, and it was difficult to find a parking spot. However, geographically the venue is extremely convenient and close to 95 and 495. The Dekelboum Concert Hall, as well as many of the other concert halls, are extremely well furnished, with wood accenting many parts of the center. The practice rooms are numerous. While the center has a lot of natural grandeur, smaller concert halls are available for private concerts or recitals. Everything feels so professional and the center is dedicated to a great student body experience.

Outstanding program by the U of MD orchestra. Mozart, Modern & Mahler. Plus, Stravinskys Octet for Winds in the lobby before the concert. Wow, what a treat. Excellent soloists (bassoon, percussion, soprano), and it was a real ear-opener to hear the level that the U of MD orchestra plays at. I will be looking at upcoming programs to see whats being offered. A GREAT cultural value.

I have now seen two performances at Clarice Smith and cant wait for more. The venue is exquisite and the two jazz shows I have seen (SF Jazz Collective | Christian McBride) were stellar. The only way things can get better is to increase the jazz programming at Clarice Smith. The venue is warm and welcoming and a perfect setting for live jazz.

The music and presentation was seductively moody, other worldly and accessible - we had a great time. There was a Chinese ceremony involving a ghost house in the lobby before the concert that was intrigueing and entertaining. Quite a successful evening. - Gerry Ellsbury

It is amazing as it should be but it is also confusing and you get lost very easily once you are inside it. The interior and exterior of the center is very attractive and well designed. There are many events regularly. Love thia place.

Ive been going to see UMD music performances for a long time, and they always just perform at such a professional level. I go to concerts there between 15-20 times a year; they are just amazing. Especially the choirs!

I worked here for some time . Great Place and amazing people. Hosts amazing events ( musicals , rehearsals, plays etc) every now . It is a great place if you want to learn more about the world of art.

An amazing building. There is always something going on, but parking is a hassle. If you are going after 4pm or on weekends, then park in lot 1 not the garage right across from it.

Great venue, very convenient, good acoustics. Parking can be difficult, but I may only be saying that because at the last concert there was a big lacrosse match at the same time.

I saw "The Matter of Origins" at CSPAC and it was a great performance. I had an amazing time and it was very important to me. This has been an interesting year indeed.

The Clarice Smith Center is just a great venue with world class acts...I dont think Ive ever been to a performance there that I wouldnt see again in a heartbeat.
