Last night my family, which included 4 younger children, came to see the Harlem Globetrotters. It was to begin at 7PM. According to the recommendations from the Giant Center we were to arrive 45 minutes prior to the start of the show. We actually arrived an hour early by 6PM. To our surprise we ended up waiting in line outside for 1 hour. It took that long to funnel and enter the building. When we finally made it to our seats we missed the start of the show. For $44 per ticket that is not acceptable. Also, for small children to need to wait outside in the freezing cold for one hour is not acceptable. There were hundreds of people still behind us that missed the start of the show. It should also be noted that the apparent reason the line was so slow to move was due to needing to go through a metal detector and having our bags checked. When it was our turn we noticed that the security staff were just letting people including us go through even through the metal detectors were indicating we should be checked further. I think that they felt bad since we were all missing the show so they were being lax about checking. While I appreciate the fact that they were pitying us it is really just making to whole process of safety checking completely worthless. Overall, the Globetrotters were wonderful but there is no way I would recommend going to the Giant center for any show until they make this process more effective. They should be reimbursing hundreds of ticket holders for this poor conduction of business. Completely unacceptable.

My 1 star review is for the Giant Center at Hershery Park and NOT the bands!! Giant Center at Hershey Park: EPIC FAIL with opening the doors at 5:30.PM for the As Lions/Sixx:AM/Shinedown/Five Finger Deathpunch Show that started at 6:00m on 12/2/16!!! What were you thinking?? This concert was sold out. Doors were supposed to open at 5:00pm. Radio station 105.7 The X even told people doors opened at 5:00pm. You left thousands of people standing outside in the cold. Did you hear me?? THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE!! When we finally got up to security, you had about 10-15 propane heaters, some had no propane tanks, BUT NONE WERE EVEN TURNED ON!! I finally got in the venue and I was at a merchant table when I noticed the lights dim. I didnt think the show could possibly be starting. But oh yes it did. Because these 4 bands are extremely punctual! I just saw them last weekend at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ(who by the way did a MUCH better job then you guys did!) People were still outside on line when As Lions went on! Not happy. People paid good money to see these bands. If there was an issue, you should have had people go up the line and inform the fans that there was an issue. Your customer service sucks!! I have tweeted these bands to let them know how you treated their fans. Get your act together!

Ok, we were in line at 2:15 for a 3:00 show for Marvel Universe. There was at least 2000 people outside and they were not letting anyone in. At 3:15 they finally opened another line to let people inside. We didnt get inside until 3:45!!!!!! Unknowingly to us the show started on time. They started the show with half of the people outside waiting to get in!!! I was very upset, and So was the thousands of people outside!! Even some of the staff was telling us they had no idea why they were not letting people in at 2:00. No way you can get that many people inside a stadium in 30 minutes. HUGE Mistake! Someone needs to get fired! Everyone who was in that line needs to complain. I have been here for a ton of events and not once did I have to wait to get inside 90 minutes!!!!!!!! Then I went to guest services, no refunds!!!!! I missed half the show because you didnt open the doors early enough and I get punished. NO WAY!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Glad I got tickets to Janet Jackson in DC. Will never go to an event here again.

Terrible line management. Went to see As Lions, Sixx:AM, Five Finger Death Punch, and Shinedown. I will be writing to your official website as well. The show was sold out, I prepared for it, you think the Giant Center would have too. Waited in the freezing cold for over 40 MINUTES to get into the venue, got there in ample time to see the opening bands... but not only did we miss the first band because we were waiting in line, but we missed three songs by Sixx:AM, which was the band we wanted to see. Ruined my whole experience. Right as my group was getting into the security checkpoint, well after the second band went on stage, they FINALLY opened another line. Not only did it blow me away that this venue, which has been around long enough now and should know how to handle things, only had ONE ENTRANCE FOR A SOLD OUT SHOW... but even more mind blowing, WHY WOULD YOU NOT BE OPERATING AT FULL CROWD CHECK-IN CAPACITY FOR A SOLD OUT SHOW?! Too little too late Giant Center. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Went to the cheap trick foreigner and Led Zeppelin experience concert last night concerts were great the seats suck no room for your legs very uncomfortable kept getting hit in the back of the head by the lady sitting behind me. The steps getting to the Searss are very dangerous to maneuver kept feeling like any minute Id topple over the seat in front of us while finding our seats. God for bid if youre bigger than a size 18 because you wont fit in the seat seriously giant Center you need to come to Allentown and check out the PPL center they know how to make the seat properly lots of leg room lots of butt room and youre not getting hit in the back of the head with somebody elses knees every time they pass behind your seat. Really a little padding on the seats would be a great help as well. Really just visit the PPL center in Allentown then go back tear down Giant center and start over!

Disappointed with this venue. Security took forever. We showed up at 6 which was, granted, when the show started. However, it took until 6:40 for us to even get inside. By then, the first band had finished their set and the second band was halfway through theirs. Upon arrival I found out that the lead singer of the headline band was not here and they had a fill in. This guy sang several lyrics wrong or out of tune. Very disappointed in that. I felt that a partial refund was in order. I paid for 100% of the show, I did not get 100% of the show. When I called up, I was told I could have gotten a full refund, but would have missed the entire show including the other headline act. The Giant Center clearly did the bare minimum to right the wrong here. In the future, Ill probably make the drive out to Philly to see live bands.

This is the worst venue admission ever. I want my money back. There was only one entrance and a few lines for check-in for a sold out show. They should have prepared for this. We got there at 6, which for a weeknight is the earliest they can expect their audience to be able to make it there by. We should have been able to see the opening band and the rest of the bands we wanted to see. They made us stand outside in the cold even after we got there early and we didnt make it to the front of the line for 45 minutes! At that point we had missed the opener and the first 3 songs of Sixx AM, the main band I paid to see. Extremely upset and disappointed. I will try to avoid this venue in the future, and will tell others the same, unless they make a change to their check-in process.
