Delmy is a true professional. She manages Capitol View with such grace and patience. When we first looked at the venue, we just knew it was the one. It had that "It" factor we were looking for. We looked at over 20 venues just in DC, including converted yoga studios, hotels, museums and art galleries. The roof of Capitol View, with the air conditioned pavilion and breathtaking views is just in a different league than the other places we explored. Leading up to the wedding, in the year of planning, Delmy was always so quick to reply to our emails and give us helpful tips throughout the process. She encouraged us to come to the venue multiple times to get ideas for our big day and took extra time for our final walk through to ensure everything ran smoothly day of. For the few days leading up to the wedding, Delmy had such patience with us as we made multiple trips to her office to drop off the alcohol, centerpieces, guest books and decorations. We didnt hire a day of coordinator and honestly, we didnt need one with Delmy and her team on site. She ensured everything ran smoothly and checked in with me and my husband multiple times to make sure we were happy and healthy! To put it simply, Delmy knows what shes doing and she does it so well. She brings years of experience which makes her brides at ease and focused on whats important on the wedding day!

I was here for a conference dinner on the rooftop. The food was lackluster and ran out multiple times. the ebvent was by reservation only so it was not as if Capitol View had no idea on how many patrons to expect. The two bars that were on the rooftop were cash only and hard to navigate towards. The bathrooms were also located a fair distance away. After a bit of socializing (like an hour), many of my peers decided to go to another venue.
